Situated on a private island in the north of the Maldives, JA Manafaru provides luxurious beautifully appointed beach and overwater villas with private outdoor pools. We spent our fall break vacation at JA Manafaru and it was (again) FANTASTIC! It was our third time on this as a family. Our kids are 8 and 10 years by now. My husband and I spend our honeymoon on Manafaru back in 2008. Our stay was great in 2008 and it has been even better in the past last years! As always we stayed in the Deluxe Beach Villa with family pool. For the last two nights of our stay we had the opportunity to stay in the marvelous and breathtaking Ocean Residence. For the first time we have had the chance to have the best of both worlds - beach & ocean. Just great! The new management made a few changes on the island: there are only a few more chickens running around - the rest is in the most beautiful chicken farm I’ve ever seen: They’ve called it „Cluckingham Palace“. It’s in the middle of the island but guests are welcome to visit and have a look at it. There are also plans for a new bar and another restaurant. Most probably it will be opened by the time we come back again in Februar 2024. Also new: Kids Club Care: Seema and Lyn were really great playing and crafting with our daughter! Our daughter just loved everything in the kids club especially the Halloween program. Again a big big big thank you to the outstanding and friendly staff and of course F&B!!! Sunset Beach Residence with Pool at Hideaway Beach Resort and Spa is your very own luxury beachfront retreat – everything your family dreamed a holiday in the Maldives could be, and more. Was just over my expectations! A place to must visit! I highly recommend it for any type of visit, couple , families, groups or alone you will have many things to do and enjoy the wonderful nature or having fun. Just an advice, book the water plane coz it’s not easy to reach! It was worth all the traveling. I am already planning when to go back! Thank you to all the people there for the wonderful stay!

The room was comfortable, had everything we needed. The staff is excellent: Shushu, the cook, has spoilt us with delicious food every day; also Yusuf was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Blue Coral is not just great value for money, but truly a wonderful place to spend a holiday, close to the beach. We had a very relaxing stay and would absolutely love to return.
