The manager is a very kind and generous man. He went out of his way to drive me around the neighbourhood to introduce me to places to eat, purchase supplies and where to catch a small ferry across the river to the Kuching CBD and the museums. The new Museum of Borneo cultures is the best I've experienced in all of Asia. Staying in a house in a Kampung is special. Not like the usual hotel in a tourist part of town. Instead you find yourself in a friendly community with locals who are eager to connect.

Check in was quick and staff friendly. The place is very clean, rooms are in neat design and comfy japanese style. Very clean bathrooms. Common area mezzanine is comfortable, you get free cold & warm water as well as tea and coffee during the day, great! Shops and laundry nearby and about 15-20 mins of walk from the center where all tours departs. I had a great stay, it gets a 9/10 just because I had slightly better value for money in Malaysia & Borneo.

We wanted a few days/ nights luxury at the end of our 8 week trip to New Zealand and Borneo to relax & process our adventures. We wanted for nothing and the customer service from all staff was outstanding. Thankyou. The food selection at buffet breakfast was huge and delicious. We sampled a smaller poolside restaurant twice & had excellent food & service. Thank you Jennifer. We also tried the Ramadam dinner which was excellent too.

Riverine Diamond Kuching was everything we needed for a relaxing stay! The apartment was spotless and had all the amenities – a kitchen, a cozy living area, and a washing machine that was such a plus. The infinity pool was an absolute highlight and we enjoyed lounging by the beautiful garden area. The location was super convenient, just a short drive from Kuching International Airport and close to the Borneo Convention Centre.

This is the third apartment I have rented during my stay here in Sabah, having used KK as a central hub during my tour of Borneo. By far the best apartment in the Shore complex I have used. Well equipped, nice furniture, well presented and excellently maintained. This is a one bed “studio” style rental with ample space for one or two people. Everything works, TV……WiFi, AC. Great view 21st floor facing the harbour and ocean.

We were treated so well here from the moment the hotel's driver met us at the airport to the time we checked out. We were upgraded at check-in and gifted a tropical fruit plate as a welcome gift. The dinner buffet was exceptional in choice and quality. We only stayed one night, but what a wonderful introduction to Indonesian Borneo - we felt like minor rock stars.

This is a jewel-hostel! It has beautiful, comfortable and clean installations. The bed seem hotel beds even in the dorms, and there is a great space to cook and hang out with other travelers. The staff, especially Lia, are helpful with everything from daily questions about KK to travel plans all over Sabah. We are definitely coming back before leaving Borneo!

Beautiful rooms nestled into a lush jungle setting. Comfortable beds and big rooms. All facilities are clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed laying on the porch hammock listening to the sounds of the jungle and looking for animals. We were lucking enough to spot 4 orangutans at the resort. This was the best hotel we stayed during our 2 weeks in Borneo.

I like that the hotel went to a rejuvenation process and upgraded everything internally to a modern design with the times especially the rooms and the other facilities like the gym the sauna and swimming pool (but sadly was not able to use it as it was still under renovation) and the breakfast area the Borneo river café was also beautifully renovated

It's very central, an easy walk to the waterfront, Carpenter Road and Borneo Culture Museum. As a female solo traveler I could connect to many nice people and the hostel staff is providing information about the main activities in Kuching, how to take public transport etc.

We had a great stay at the Borneo hotel and extended our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and varied every day. It is in a great spot close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

The main difference compared to Hotels is the homestay itself. We had nice talks with homestay family and guests. So, we learned a lot about native people, Mulu, Borneo history, Malaysia. It is in the midst of rainforest, therefore nature is everywhere. Impressive!

The location was good. We visited the Tip of the Borneo park. A pity about the sad Malaysian flag at the globe. It was very frayed and damaged (?by the wind and sun??). Our ocean view from our rooms was spectacular. It was close to the seafood restaurant and town.

The location is within walking distance from the Borneo Cultural Museum and Sarawak River. Many eating places are nearby including shopping malls. The place has unique vintage vibes and the counter staff are ever helpful. Overall we had a fun and enjoyable stay.

Stayed two nights at Owl nest apartment. Part of complex. Booked here because it was close to Borneo train trip. Self check in. Room good size. Bathroom good Towels and sheets clean. Bed comfortable. Aircon and wifi good. Restaurants and cafes around complex.

5-stars apartment! I would like to highly recommend it if you want to spend nice time in Sandakan, Borneo. For me it was a pleasure to spend here couple of days and definitely it was my best accommodation during 3-weeks trip in Sabah, Borneo.

since i with my friends were going to Financial Park as audiences for Borneo Arts Festival, we expect that Seroja Hotel was far but its not that far as our expectations. its so near and easy for us to go there.

Close to Borneo Convention Centre Kuching if UCSI Hotel is full. Grab fare ranges from RM5.30 to RM29 depending on traffic/demand. Breakfast was adequate - catered for vegans, halal and indulgent guests.

A beautiful comfortable hotel with gorgeous swimming pool. Perfect in every way. A wonderful way to finish a few days visiting Borneo after being in a more basic Wildlife Lodge in the jungle.

(1) Pullman Miri’s location is good. it is closed to Miri Times Square, Borneo Heritage Market, etc. (2) It has good restaurants in the proximity. (3) The hotel rooms are spacious.
