The bathroom was well appointed with a separate shower stall and a bathtub. The hot water temperature was just right for me. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of cuisines with local specialities (Laksam, Laksa Kelantan, Nasi lemak) and international delicacies.

kota bharu is the city for food and batik shopping. i brought my friend here to my hometown just for food hunting and also some batik shopping. they can purchase a lot of things here but much more cheaper than kuala lumpur. i bought my palazzo pants only RM 20 at bazaar tok guru and also at rantau panjang instead of RM 65 at Kuala Lumpur. so, if you guys wants to visit Kelantan, here some tips - do not come during public holiday or school holiday

Fantastic central market with an amazing top floor selling fabrics and Muslim modest fashion. I can now understand why all the women in Kota Bharu were so well dressed. A fairly interesting museum area including a section devoted to the Malayan keris knife in its various incarnations; a collection of rivercraft; a fairly impressive all teak residence with cast iron spiral staircases covering the Kelantan sultanate and birth and marriage ceremonies; a museum with just posters devoted to the Japanese invasion of Malaysia (which started in Kota Bharu) A great Indian restaurant - Sri Devi on Jalan Kebun Sultan A well used cultural centre (programme of events from the very helpful tourist information office). We saw a shadow puppet show on Wednesday evening (9'ish - 11'ish). Plenty of locals there having a good laugh - clearly much "lost in translation" but very fascinating to watch + a terrific musical accompaniment on authentic instruments

Kota Bharu is a nice place, You can have a lots of variety of delicious food a round the town. You also can have window shopping around the town. You can buy any craft sourvenir at pasar SITI Khadijah, Moreover you can enjoy yourself at Wakaf Che Yeh night market, You can have a lot of variety foods , sourvenir and window shopping here, because the price is quite more cheaper than other place. You also can enjoy to see border between Malaysia and Thailand at Pengakalan Kubor and Rantau Panjang,Therefore you can spend few hour here to have window shopping here. Enjoy your stay in Kelantan

Normally people only visit for shopping... so please put it on your must visit list for shopping: 1- Pasar Siti Khadijah 2- Rantau Panjang 3- Pengkalan Kubu 4- Wakaf Che Yeh (at night) For food places, you may find every where while you’re at Kelantan but for Lunch time, please go to the Nasi Ulam Restaurant, you will fall in love with their food and if you are “Ulam” lover, you may find a lot of type the “ulam” they may offer to you.

Love to visit the city of Kota Bharu, Kelantan in the near future. The city and its people are very friendly as they shows their very own Malay traditions and cultures. There so many improvements in terms of accommodations and facilities for the local and international visitors. If you are love to explore more the diversity of Malay Cultures and traditions in the land of "Truly Asia"; Yes, Do come and visit this capital of Kelantan State. I believe the local government is surely looking after their cities, including the capital of state and other districts as well. Very tasteful home furnishing. Simple and stylish, minimalist. Pleasant colour scheme. Bedding is comfortable. Kitchen equiped with microwave, Coway water system, electric kettle and stove. Sufficient supply of clothes hanger to do our washing. The shower strong water pressue was a plus. Finally, the view of Kelantan River from the living room is awesome at sunset. My family feels comfortably at home staying in the apartment for 4 days.

We love the daily Night market at Hotel door step. Don't miss eating the fresh butter prawn at Hotel lift is very unique manual door entrance exit. We had a great laughter every time we take the lift because we used to forget that we need to open the door manually. Many shops around the hotel.
