Beautiful beachside cabins which were well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and very friendly and helpful - particularly Shirla and Emilio. The owners were friendly and helpful. The food from the restaurant was delicious. The beach and hammock areas were very well maintained.

There is so much to discover on the large grounds and on the paths through the forest or along the beach. Anna, Derek and family are very warm people with whom we quickly felt comfortable and at home. The breakfast is great and dinner with everyone who wants to join is a nice and culinary way to get together. The on-site dive center is also great with breathtaking dive spots right outside the door, experienced guides and good equipment. We are happy to have experienced such a relaxed stay on the island through Derek's Place. That's why we stayed twice as long as originally planned.
