Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn is located next to highway A7 and offers accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Alkmaar is 15 miles away. Everything was amazing. To have a casino, bar, restaurant, and a cinema at the same place was amazing. The town near by (Hoorn) was a real taste of the Netherlands. Amazing.

De Keizerskroon is located in the heart of the historic center of Hoorn. Set in an old town mansion, it featuresy rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. The room was clean and tidy. The staff very helpful. We had family room, the shower and toilet in the same room.

Die Port van Cleve is a cozy hotel situated in the center of Enkhuizen, along the harbor. The train station and tourist information office are a short walk away. All rooms have a private bathroom. Very friendly and obliging family-run hotel in a great location over-looking the river. Close enough to walk to the train station, even for older people pulling bags. Great breakfasts, bar/lounge area for relaxing at the end of the day and a lovely historic feel.

De Magneet is located along the harbor of Hoorn, within walking distance of the center of Hoorn. The hotel has a private parking and an intimate cafe. Very friendly owner and very nice family owned hotel. Breakfast area looks great. Location is super close to the centre.

Located near the Markermeer, Hotelhuisjes Oosterleek offers detached rooms (Little Hotel Houses) next to a farmhouse.. Each has a terrace with views. The whole experience was first class. The welcoming upon arrival. clearly nothing would be too much trouble but equally we were not disturbed. The accommadation was more than we expected and extreemly clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed and other facilities.

Hotel Medemblik is in a charming town set on one of Europe's largest inland lakes, the IJsselmeer. Ideally located in the center of the city, you can walk around the town and park your car for free. Very friendly staff, very good location, good breakfast.
