Diese Unterkunft war eines unserer Highlights bei unserer Tour durch Norwegen. Wir haben im "Haupthaus" geschlafen welches inmitten wunderschöner Natur gelegen ist. Wir haben gut geschlafen und das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker. Herausragend war das Team, welches wahnsinnig hilfsbereit und freundlich war!

Die Unterkunft Hindsæter verfügt über einen Garten, eine Terrasse, ein Restaurant und eine Bar in Hindseter. The hotel is stunningly situated. The suites at the hotel are beautiful with lots of local and historical details. The lounge area with large windows facing the valley is great for chilling out with a local beer in the evening. We only had a short stay but we’re spoilt for choice on the number of hikes from the hotel- they were all well sign posted and we got good advice from reception. Breakfast was in the lovely historic dining room and used local produce. The whole place is very friendly and full of character. Can’t wait to go back!

Really unusual with "ski lodge" feel. Modern rooms with spartan, Scandinavian feel. Really cool lobby area where many guests sitting, reading, texting, having a beer or glass of wine. Great hiking nearby and stunning scenery. Excellent restaurant. Really enjoyed my stay.

Das Bessheim Fjellstue begrüßt Sie mit Aussicht auf den See Øvre Sjodalsvatnet. Neben einem eigenem Restaurant bietet es Zimmer mit Bergblick und eigenem Bad. We recently stayed two nights here and had a fantastic experience. The staff are all highly friendly, courteous, and hospitable. Initially, we could not make it all the way to the hotel in our car as the road leading to the hotel was closed due to severe rainstorms in the days leading up to our stay. Nonetheless, the hotel sent out staff members to meet us at a pick up point and drive us to the hotel. They also had staff drive us to the ferry in Gjendesheim to catch the first morning ferry to Besseggen. We absolutely would not have made it to our incredible hike at Besseggen if they were not willing to be so accommodating to us. They even had staff drive us back to our car once our stay was over! The dinner at the hotel was wonderful, and my friend and I especially loved their selection of local beers and aquavit. All in all, if you are hiking Besseggen or embarking on other adventures in Jotunheimen National Park, I could not recommend Bessheim Fjellstue og Hytter highly enough!

Dieser ehemalige Bauernhof liegt im malerischen Lom in der Nähe des Nationalparks Jotunheim. We stayed here after a long day climbing in Jotunheimen NP, which is only about a 30-minute drive away. This unique hotel comprises a complex of beautiful, historic buildings within a stunning mountainous setting. You can see that a lot of effort has gone into the preservation of its history including maintaining original furnishings, the art and decor, and the historic items used there. We stayed in a restored schoolroom - it was cosy, clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed bathing in a wooden tub! The toiletries were plentiful and lovely. We paid extra for the dinner and it was absolutely divine - fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. (They also kindly accommodated my pescetarian dietary preferences!). The breakfast was also plentiful, diverse and delicious - many of the breakfast items were handmade (including the pastries and jams!), which is so rare these days. After breakfast, you were encouraged to make sandwiches to take for your lunch which was very kind. The staff were very friendly and hospitable.

Anywhere you go in the restaurant, it's like you find yourself in a museum, surrounded with antic treasure's.
