Great staff, very clean, comfortable bed, good shower, breakfast buffet had many choices and was tasty. The room had coffee and tea service. It was possible to park in a lot directly in front of the hotel. Very pleasant rooftop terrace with a restaurant and bar, overlooking the city and the islands in the sea. Good carbonara and chocolate lava cake.

Opened in September 2018, this hotel is situated next to the Storo Storcenter shopping centre, between the Storo and Nydalen neighborhoods of Oslo, about 5 km from the city centre. The breakfast was absolutely excellent! It had it all :-D The room was good-sized with two(!) comfy arm chairs and a desk. The shower was really good with both a handheld mouthpiece and a large overhead one. There was also plenty of space for you luggage.The bed was also comfy and not too soft (I like beds tending towards the firm end of the spectrum). Another detail I appreciated was the main power switch for the room. It was the ordinary solution where you are supposed to insert your key card in order to activate the power. However, here there was already a card in the switch and all you had to do was to press it in a bit when you arrive, and pull it out slightly when you leave the room. No risk to forget your card, nice!

The newly renovated and eco-friendly Thon Hotel Rozenkrantz Oslo is located just 1 km from Aker Brygge and 700 metres from Oslo Central Station. Free WiFi access is available. Such a wonderful hotel in a great location with friendly staff. Breakfast was plentiful with loads of choices with fresh ingredients. We arrived early at the hotel just to drop our bags and was surprised when they said they had rooms available, so we were able to check-in early and explore Oslo. The hotel reception provided reccomendations on places to visit and see, along with resturant reccomendations for dinner, which we followed and were excellent. Room is spacious enough with all the amentities one would need, along with being clean and comfortable.
