The boutique 4-star Hotel do Canal is situated in Horta on Faial Island. It is just 100 metres from the beach and offers panoramic views of Pico Mountain and the bay. This hotel is right on the harbour in a great location. Everything about it was good for us. Great breakfast, comfortable room and pleasant staff. Secure parking.

Featuring a shared lounge, terrace and views of sea, Hotel São Francisco is located in Horta, 1.2 km from Praia da Conceição. The accommodation provides an ATM, and luggage storage for guests. Our room was on the ground floor, with a veranda and a superb view of the yacht mole and Pico. The area is quiet and safe. The room was serviced every day and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was good - fresh fruit and juice, cornflakes, yoghourt, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs and fresh rolls, a griller to toast your cheese and ham roll. There were tea infusions and many ways of making an excellent cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful..

Offering city views, Casa Rua Velha is an accommodation located in Horta, 300 metres from Praia da Conceição and 2.6 km from Praia do Almoxarife Beach. Very stylish appartment, looks pretty new. Everything (and more) what is needed for a pleasant stay. There was some chocolate, fruits, water, wine and two beers for us. Not far to walk to shops and restaurants.

Situated in Horta, Casinha das Hortênsias features air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The accommodation provides private check-in and check-out and bicycle parking for guests. Amazing place that keeps the highest standard of everything - starting from the communication and, finally, the accomodation place itself. It is super clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. There are two nice balconies, parking place, good Wi-Fi connection. We enjoyed a very well equipped kitchen with a possibility to prepare meals and washing machine after hiking. Highly recommend and would be great to come back one day!

Largo Bispo Boutique Hostel is located in Horta, 500 metres from Praia da Conceição and 2.6 km from Praia do Almoxarife Beach. The location is very good with respect to all Govt. Offices, Local Transport, Taxies, Rent A Car, fuel Station, Sea Transport, Bicycle Stands, ATM Machines, Supper Markets, All kind of Shops for Shopping, Cafeterias, Restaurants, Parks, Beach, & Tourists Attractions. All these things are under the radius of 100 to 200 Meters or Maximum 300 Meters. The airport is 10 KM Away which is not much Far. It's Cool & Calm Area with Cool & Calm Accommodation with all necessary facilities. I simply recommend you due to its reasonable prices against all above mentioned. I will preferably book it again & again whenever I go to Horta.

Nereida features free WiFi throughout the property and views of sea in Horta. The property is non-smoking and is located 1.4 km from Praia de Porto Pim. We appreciated the warm welcome and easy check in, with keyless building and room access. The rooms look out over the harbor, and the hotel could not be in a nicer spot. Free parking was plentiful, and there is a lot behind the hotel as well. Nereida is perfect for self catering. You have a kitchenette in the room, plus a fully equipped kitchen in the common room. So you can cook a bigger meal in there if you want. It is also close to several good restaurants and a market. We would recommend it to anyone for sure.

Located in Horta and only 1.8 km from Praia da Conceição, Alice´s House provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Alice is a wonderful host. She was very helpful with organizing transport to the Caldeira. She also offers to do laundry for free, which I found very nice. The house is on the hill, offering a nice view on Pico and surrounded by a well-kept garden. The walk from the harbour to the house is a bit steep. I considered it to be a nice workout but for some people it may be easier to reach with a car.
