Facing the beachfront, Villa Galleria offers 4-star accommodation in Colibiţa and has free bikes, fitness centre and garden. Lovely stay. Room was clean and spacious. Location more than perfect. Very quiet and relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed the spa a lot. Would deffo recommend. I want to mention that restaurant staff is really accommodating and lovely. Thank you!!!

Boasting a garden and a bar, Pensiune CasaMircea is set in Bistriţa. The hotel also offers free WiFi and free private parking. Besides a warm greeting from our hostess the aroma from the kitchen was delightful. It was more like coming home to visit Buni than a stay at an inn. Both the restaurant area and our room were very clean and sufficiently met our needs. Attention to detail was evident every where. As well, our meals (dinner & breakfast) were exactly like something you would have at family visit. The papanasi was EXCELLENT and made directly there! They used sour cherries from their garden. At first bite the subtle delicious vanilla flavor came through. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area or looking for a place to eat if you’re a local. You will not be disappointed.

Coroana de Aur is located in central Bistrita, 500 meters from the 14th-century main square and church. The hotel features massage facilities and a ticket desk. Outstanding place, will definitely plan to stay here again. Very friendly and flexible staff, great facilities, good location. We booked a room an hour before arrival and requested an infant cot to be prepared. It was all ready by the time we got there. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were great. Lots of flexible options for lighting in the room. The kitchen staff went above and beyond: because they weren't busy, they brought our meal to our room, even though they don't usually have room service.

Situated in Bistriţa, HOTEL CORA Bistrita offers 3-star accommodation with a terrace. Room was spacious, very clean ans comfy. When needed, houskeeping came quickly and brought us extra suplies.

Hotel Poarta Transilvaniei is located 2 km from the city centre and on the road linking Bistrita to Vatra Dornei, offering modern rooms with free access to Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and a restaurant. We stopped here on our way to the north of the country and for one night it is a good place to stay. The location is good, the bed and rooms are big and the facilities are also good overall.
