I'm glad I stopped in this Hotel in Birlad. The hotel wasn't fancy but delivered my expectations. The hotel receptionist who checked me in could have done a better job (she didn't seem welcoming, didn't tell me there was a wifi password, and charged me for two breakfasts on the first night. I thought maybe I made a mistake and booked for two people, but going back to my reservation later, I see that it was just for 1 person), but the other two receptionists were friendly and helpful during my stay. The receptionist working the day I checked out was incredibly helpful in me finding the bus I needed. My advice: skip the hotel breakfast and eat outside. You'll get better food for the same money. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance.

A good location for a relaxing holiday in Simila, DNK Residence is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake. Great people with a big hearts. I arrived late evening after 3 days of traveling. The DNK Residence has no designed facilities for supply a meals( no restaurant on territory) Anyway the owner and his family offered me a dinner from their table with no charge for it.
