You get what you pay for, we travel both luxury and budget so understand this clearly. The staff were friendly and SO helpful, it’s a great place to rent a moped too which is essential for koh kood. The room does what it needs to, a clean and comfortable place to sleep with a fully functional bathroom & exceptional AC and ceiling fan to keep you 100% cool (sometimes too cold 😉) Drains a little smelly but that’s 100% normal for Thailand and is no fault of the owners ☺️ - great location to explore all beaches/waterfalls!

We have been to Koh Kood for the second time and we know that this is an expensive island. We were looking for something with good AC, a good location and we were on a budget. It is a very simple bungalow, far from a resort or hotel. The owners do not speak great English but they do their best to help you. We rented a motorbike really quickly - the owner helped us with that. Again, before booking, please understand - it is a simple bungalow that has everything you would need to sleep and relax.

The resort, one of Koh Kood's oldest accommodations, has maintained its presence despite growing competition, suggesting it meets the expectations of its guests. Located directly in front of a picturesque beach, it offers good views and the convenience of kayak rentals for sea activities. The resort also hosts a bar, which is notably open until late, particularly around the New Year. Based on our experience, it provides a satisfactory stay.

Koh Kood is our favourite Island in Thailand. We've been here for over a month and love Koh Kood however this accommodation is the worst option in Koh Kood. We spent 3 nights here and the staff and owners are really rude and unhelpful. There are many other nicer, friendlier and welcoming options all around Koh Kood. If you would like to really enjoy your time and make the most out of Koh Kood I suggest that you don't stay here.

A wonderful peaceful and welcoming place to stay in koh kood. The owners are very lovely people. The garden offers privacy whilst also having a relaxed feel where you can chat to other guests. Nice new restaurant attached. Easy to rent scooters from owner. Rooms meticulously clean. Free tea and coffee. Also centrally located in the island. Do recommend a scooter as with everywhere in koh kood so you can explore all of the beaches.

This place was amazing. I would be so bold as to say it was the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The room was clean and well equipped. The views were amazing! The hotel staff really do make a lot of effort to keep the place clean, both inside and out. I had visited another couple of resorts when on Koh Kood and I can safely say that Hideout Resort was the best!

Location was amazing, surrounded by the palm trees, we booked budget bungalow, which was very small but good enough for us, very cozy, we had good sleep and managed without air conditioning, shower with good pressure and hot water, owners very very friendly and helpful, you can also rent scooter from them. Koh Kood is one of our favorites from Thailand. Definitely recommend.

Excellent family ran business all working hard to make the guests stay enjoyable. Surrounded by coconut trees and rubber plantations. Very good central location. Scooter provided by the hotel. Didn’t need to pay deposit or anything just paid at the end of the stay. Very laid back relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Koh kood

The staff was very friendly, and I got a free room upgrade. For snorkelers, this place is great for snorkeling, with lots of fish and very clear water. The hotel restaurant is not expensive.The ferry costs 600 bath per person for one way with company ( Koh Kood Express Ferry). The hotel is in Thai style and you have alot multiple options for photo shoots.

Everything was just perfect. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful zone, very close to the beach. You can borrow all kinds of equipments for water activities - snorkeling, kayaking, stand-up paddling etc. All the staff are very warm and friendly. If we go back to Koh Kood one day, we'd very much like to go back to A La Koh Kood.

Very nice and modern apartment. The room and the garden were very clean and we loved the breakfast. Its located a bit further away from everything but you need a scooter on Koh Kood anyways to get around. The island itself is one of the best we have been to on Thailand - the beaches are definitely comparable to the Philippines.

I stayed a week in this wonderful place, surrounded by nature and in full Thai style. The owners of the house are very sweet and very kind people. Every morning an excellent breakfast. The best stay during my holiday in Thailand...definitely if I come back to koh kood this will be the place.

Great place to relax with good vibe atmosphere. Very friendly and helpfull staff specially gentleman and lady in the reception. Breakfast was very good and tasty. We really enjoyed this hotel. Big recommendation if you plan to visit Koh Kood.

Having stayed here many times, had a great time once again. Excluding Soneva Kiri this is the next best hotel on Koh Kood. It is also great to see much investment with them building a new reception and also doing up their villas.

Friendly staff, good food quality in restaurant and hotel close to waterfront. Rooms a bit worn out and signs of many years of usage. Not a 4 star hotel worthy. But we will consider to come back if we return to Koh Kood

On the entire island it is the best beach in all of Koh Kood, the rooms on the first line are magnificent, super nice and clean. the breakfast the best breakfast i have had in all of thailand. A paradise.

The Chef Chris (French) is very versatile in cooking your very favorite dish. I score 10 the location. Really private, exclusive, naturally fused in the nature. Facing the best beach in the island.
