Me and my daughter had an amazing experience at the Carra Hotel. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were given lots of information about Mardin and and the owner Mete arranged a taxi tour for us which was an incredible experience. The taxi driver Mehmet took us around for the entire day and was extremely knowledgeable of the area. We had a great time. The hotel itself was beautiful with a gorgeous traditional interior design. I highly recommend getting tea and sitting at the terrace, which offers a gorgeous view. Thank you to Yildiz and Bekir for the lovely breakfast and for being very friendly. Overall, our experience was 10/10 and we hope to make another trip in the future!

The property is recently renovated so everything is really nice and new. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Şanliurfa and only a couple of minutes on foot to the bustling streets of the bazaars. It’s a 10 minute walk from the fish lake and other historical places of interest including the museums which is a must see. Everything can be reached on foot. The location of the hotel is fantastic as is the breakfast which is traditional Turkish breakfast from the area. The hotel manager Bariş is lovely and very helpful, he knows people in the area including a fantastic and very helpful English speaking local called Cebrail (Gabriel) who knows the area very well and knows all of the important historical sites to visit in the region. Ali Murat makes sure that every morning you are happy and makes sure your rooms are clean and is very attentive. The Taxi Driver Hassan was also superb. One thing you can count on is a very warm welcoming experience where the hotel and the staff care about your welfare and if you come back really late they pop you a WhatsApp message to make sure you are ok! Some of the rooms have huge terraces and the rooms are spacious with everything you need including air conditioning. 10/10 hotel and I highly recommend for anyone wanting to be in a traditional high standard hotel in the heart of the old town but who also want a bit a quiet in the evenings. If you consider booking this hotel I strongly recommend you to do it. It was one of the most beutiful hotel I have stayed in. It is an oasis in lovely but a little bit touristy city of Mardin. The owner is so friendly, we felt like home. The location is also convenient. We totally loved it and will come back next time.

Attractively located in Mardin, Mirsoum Han features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. We stayed for three nights in a beautiful suite room at Mirsoum Han and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The employees (Davud & Diyar) always welcomed us with a smile. With their kind, friendly & always solution-oriented attitude they really made us feel very welcome. Smallest suggestions for improvement were implemented literally the next day. Before I move on to the tasteful rooms I have to mention the breakfast. We have been on the road for 2 weeks and the breakfast here has by far been the most amazing! Medina, the lady in the kitchen, went above and beyond to provide us with a different amazing breakfast every morning. She even made special vitamin drinks for me, because she cared for my pregnancy. I would come back here anytime just for the breakfast! The stone rooms with high arched ceilings are as beautiful & spacious as shown on the pictures. We had a fire place (Davud helped us set it up every night), an amazing copper bath tub, multiple cozy sitting areas beautifully decorated and a very big modern bathroom. We loved drinking the nespresso coffee provided and just enjoying the beauty of the room. Also the lighting in the room is very romantic. You can see in every corner of the hotel, that it is an acclaimed architect’s work. Also, the sitting area outside has a beautiful view of Mesopotamia. We would warmly recommend staying in this high quality hotel and love to come back.
