We had the best time at the placencia hotel, the welcome was lovely. Nice pool and spa facilities, very spacious room. All the staff were so lovely. I would return to this hotel, definitely recommend

Front office manager so welcoming. We received a welcome drink at the bar , friendly bartender. Housekeeper checked to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Staff members had time to talk to you. Good choice of indoor or outdoor dining, concierge service available, nice pool bar, lovely very large, clean pool, well kept landscaping. Right on the beach

The resort is laid back and is comfortable. The resort was very clean and our room had maid service every day. The beach has a beautiful sandy bottom where you can walk / swim out a long way. There are SUP boards, kayaks, hobicat for your use, all in great condition. There is 6 hole miniature golf, volleyball, bikes and fun games. The atmosphere was fun with a great restaurant and bar, with entertainment on some nights. We really enjoyed this resort and the location is perfect.

There were beautiful trees on the property which made it seem like we were in a tropical secluded resort. Our room was very clean and had everything we could have needed (stove, fridge, A/C, WiFi, kitchenware, table/chairs, bath/shower). Honestly the room was much better than some of the high priced resorts we stayed at. The owner was absolutely wonderful and we had a pleasant chat with her. The pool could use an upgrade but it is clean and refreshing and if the restaurant staff aren’t busy you can get a cool drink served to you in the water. The full service restaurant is very good and often booked for Korean bbq. The thatched cabanas are roomy, unique , and have all one needs. The juice and smoothie bar was an added bonus.
