We love this cosy retreat on the ocean. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds are really well taken care of. And the restaurant is excellent if you don’t feel like walking to a beach location. A bonus is that the main beach of Cabarete doesn’t extend this far, so it feels very private. We either walked or ran the beach every morning and it was a 5 min walk to get there.

The Eco Lodge is amazing. If you, like me, prefer to travel consciously and authentically this place is all that! Local and kind staff. Waking up and being able to hear the ever changing sea before even opening your eyes is truly wonderful. There's a chill island vibe at the spot - doesn't really feel like a hotel - and I mean that in the best way possible. I definitely felt recharged after our stay there and it was our favourite place out of 4 in the DR. Cabarete is a nice town 10 min/600 pesos away (Sosua too). If you plan on exploring the area, it's probably better to rent a motorcycle. There are other tourists, but not to an extend where the town loses its identity. All in all we really loved it.

This is my second stay in about a year and I have to say that all the staff members were amazing, Carlitos the security guard, From animation, Milky way Benjamin, Minnie, Betty all animation staff are the best. The bartenders, food services team and the checkin as well. They all sure make your stay amazing and make you want to come back. I will definitely book a third stay.
