Holy island is a special place.
I slept a stones throw away from where my ancestors slept four thousand years ago.
It felt like I was a luxury horse - in a cabin with all I could wish for.
Managed to link my iPhone to the telly to watch Wales beat Australia (- few times).
Climbed Snowdon the next day (50mins drive)

The Edinburgh Castle is ideally located for people coming to Holyhead by train or bus--it's right outside both the train station and ferry terminal. It is convenient to shops and the waterfront. The rooms were basic but the beds were comfy and the shower was great, which is all you really need unless you're staying in a destination resort. There were good choices for breakfast and you had the option of eating in the pub if you so desired. The staff was cheerful and helpful.
Breakfast was huge.I couldn’t eat it all. Location ideal as I was doing a walking trig point holiday with friends, who have camper vans and tents. I prefer the luxury of en-suite private facilities. The small fridge was an added bonus. Plenty of milk for cups of tea or coffee.
Orient B&B is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable. The food is excellent and highly recommended (we had both Dinner and Breakfast). TJ and her family are absolutely lovely and were so helpful and supportive of us as we had a family medical emergency during our stay. Of all the B&B's we have stayed at worldwide, we rate Orient B&B as our #1 experience. Simply outstanding service, food (excellent !) and lovely accommodation with an honest bar - so rare nowadays.
The location is excellent (although no views from the room as only velux roof windows). Immaculately clean, comfortable enough double bed with luxury linen.
The negatives are just as other visitors comment, that the room is tiny and the photos do not prepare you for that! Tiny fridge pretty ineffective and 'continental breakfast' provision basic in the extreme but the modest cost and superb vistas outside more than compensate.
Luxury camping, lovely and clean little home. You're completely unaffected by any wind and rain as it's a very well constructed building whilst the door offers great views to the coast line. Set in a great location near South stack lighthouse and holyhead 'mountain'.
