Travellers who truly “get away from it all” trust resorts to provide the pinnacle of all-inclusive relaxation. Resort guests are invited to enjoy communal onsite amenities like pools, spas, restaurants, activities, excursions and shops, and stay the night in luxurious private rooms, villas or apartments.
I stayed in Alba Guesthouse for 4 nights and can recommend it. You will not get a luxury room/house, but you will get a very good price, lovely breakfast with fresh Pancakes and homemade bread, a place close to Downtown and a friendly woman-host. There is a coffee/tea station and a fridge for everyone to use, the place is clean, bed is comfortable and rooms have everything you need for a few days stay.
The location and facilities are fantastic, but also the modern renovation to this hotel and its studio apartments is really well done. The lighting of the studio apartments is well designed and good for weary traveler’s who just want to relax and enjoy a little luxury.
Really good value for money! Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. We were on the 5th floor so had a lovely view to the mountains in the distance. Breakfast was so very good and definitely exceeded expectations. We had dinner at the restaurant and both really enjoyed our meals.
Obviously this isn’t a resort or fancy hotel, but it absolutely does the job for a clean and comfortable stay with good food options. Would definitely recommend if looking for budget friendly options in Reykjavik 😊
The room with terrace had great views, attention to detail with finishes were second to none. Very upmarket experience and what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. The breakfast had a large spread that would be suited for any one. The lobby bar had a great relaxing atmosphere.
Because previous nights we slept in camp in tent, this was very luxury for us. Nice place with parking places. Very good price when you consider how close it is to center of Reykjavik. Kitchen equipment was great. If you want to stay there, read email in detail, becasou there were information, how to get into.
