First off: I'm rating the maximum because this hotel is grossly underrated for reasons I don't quite understand. A realistic rating would be in the high 8s, say 8,6 or 8,7. We stayed here as a family of four for what ended up to be 9 nights total in 2 separate bookings in June. It was our fourth stay (third hotel) on the Riviera Maya, and with spending about a third of a year in hotels we have to say it was so far the best all inclusive resort we ever stayed in. It's a smaller resort, conveniently located to everything on the island, and what first surprised us is that it has all the amenities of a big resort. Drink selection is good and bartenders are really up to speed when it comes to cocktails. The food in the main restaurant is actually very high in quality, especially lunch stands out as being particularly good (normally it's often leftovers from the previous nights' dinner, here, it's an actual meal selection), there is always a decent choice (maybe the choice is bigger in other hotels, but there's always salads, meat, seafood, fresh soups, pasta, rice, etc. ... maybe some people don't like that fries are not a daily staple). We only tried the Italian restaurant, that actually had some high quality filet. We also enjoyed the Café that has great coffee. Staff is practically always friendly, which already started when we were introduced by Aldo, cleanliness and maintenance are top tier, bigger requests like staying in the same room for consecutive bookings were handled quickly and flawlessly. The shows stand out too. We've seen shows with lower quality than the Circus, the Fire Show, and (especially) the Magic Show on tour in Europe, and have never seen anything with quite such quality in a resort. Something to really look forward too!

The hotel was very nice and the beach was the best, we love this area! The culture and the staff were amazing and work so hard but are always smiling and saying hola! The food we had at secrets was great, the omelets in the morning are always superb as well as all the fruit. Miguel was great at the secrets dinner which is one of the restaurants we had access to. We had amazing salmon for lunch there, hamburgers are always a hit, the ceviche at secrets restaurant was the very best! It rained a lot while we were there this time, but the ocean is amazing! We did love the shower and the balcony. The fridge was stocked daily as well as they left snacks in the room. We could use towels bc we never got any fresh towels and never any hand towels. We will stay at dreams again!

Loved the infinity pools with swim up bars, the private beach/snorkeling. The staff was amazing, friendly and so accommodating, able to book scooters, snorkeling, diving. We were able to walk to a few places outside the resort, ATM, Pharmacia, restaurants and felt very safe. The all inclusive restaurants were great, lots of options for food. The bed was so comfortable!

Overall was ok, but I felt the price was overrated. You can find similar places 20-30% less that they charge. Wifi is stable everywhere. Pool bars work only until 6 pm while pool work until 8 pm, they could align it. Food is fine, nothing exceptional. I honestly cannot say anything so exceptional about this resort. Yes its all inclusive, yes they have beach. Did it became something to be so appreciative today for really decent price they charge??????

This resort has everything, great location, amazing food, friendly staff and snorkeling at their own beach. It is family friendly and has a really fun vibe without being the crazy party you find at some of the other all inclusive resorts. This place feels really authentic and offers a local feel.

The pools are great, and the beach is really nice (although quite small). If you like snorkelling or diving, fully recommend coming here. There are lots of fish and even stingrays. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the sea. The room was clean and spacious. If you like quantity over quality, you will enjoy the all-inclusive experience. If you have never been to this kind of resort in the Caribbean before, read on to find out more.

I will admit I was hesitant to book here, as I’ve never been an all-inclusive resort type traveler. But I was pleasantly surprised by our experience with Iberostar in Cozumel! It was comfortable, relaxing, and beautifully situated. The staff were kind and helpful. We had a wonderful time!
