I chose the Star for its location out of town. This made all the difference as it is in a nice quiet spot perched over the sea and the views are lovely. I think the main feature overall was the caring kindness and hospitality of hosts Mani and Claire (and their assistance staff) and I am very thankful for their help and generosity to us. Super host, place had an unforseen water shortage problem and he upgraded us and looked after us above and beyond.. First class host .would absolutely stay again next time in Valencia or Dumaguete.
