The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were perfect. If you didn't want to leave the resort you really didn't have to, between beach and pool access, and the pool bar and restaurant, all of what you needed was readily available and suited all our needs.

There was nothing at all wrong with the facility; it was just not the cottage like facility we had patronized for the previous 27 years. Our “resort” was the Castaways. Hurricane Ian removed that completely from existence. Sanibel island Beach Resort is a hotel with direct access to the beach.

She changed our room to a lower floor because of my knees and even offered help with the luggage. The resort is beautiful, loved all the different plants and the fact that you can get to the beach through the patio. I loved it and can't wait to go back next year.

I loved being in a building further from the main building. It was less crowded in those buildings and those parts of the beach. We also loved watching the resident bunny rabbits on the grounds.
