Offering both an outdoor and an indoor pool, as well as wellness facilities, Val d'Arimont Resort is located in Malmedy, at the foot of the High Fens. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner in the evening was great. The grounds and landscaping were very well kept.

We brought our own oil, spices etc but everything was there. Lots of tourist info and games. Great terrace with deck chairs and cushions (for our one sunny day). We made excursions (Chimay, Thuin, ...) and evening walks along the lake.

Situated in Durbuy, just 3.5 km from Durbuy Christmas Market, Het Hertenbos chalet 136 features accommodation with a restaurant, a bar, a terrace and free WiFi. The Chalet is very nice, has complete furniture and facilities. Beautiful christmas decoration in side and outside chalet. The owner provided a surprise gift for my husband who on that day had his birthday!

As a side-note: there was a party that made some noise in the -1 level restaurant, and when I complained it was duly noted. The next morning one of the managers (Cindy W.) did her best to appease us and suggest some type compensation. Really professional and with a smile.
