We enjoyed everything during our stay. The food was amazing, our room was incredible, the bed was super soft. Even though our stay was short, we enjoyed kayaking in the river, going on a bike ride, and hiking up 300ft to see an outstanding view of the Sleeping Giant. Definitely planning a longer stay next time!

Located outside San Ignacio, it offers excursions to nearby national parks, caves and the rainforest. This hotel was stunning! From the welcome drink and scented towel upon check-in, to the beauty of the property, to the stunning decor and design of the room, everything exceeded our expectations. HIGHLY recommend this location! The staff was on top of their game and were insanely impressive!!!

There is jungle all around and feels like you are in an oasis! Every morning I would have my coffee overlooking the river - I saw river otters and one day a large river turtle just came floating by! We had breakfast there - which was very good! The staff was amazing - helped us book an ATM Cave tour last minute (which was a once in a lifetime experience) and assisted with our travels to Guatemala. We wondered if the no AC in the room would be an issue, but it absolutely wasn't! Between the cool down at night and the fans in the room we slept great!

Gumbo Limbo Jungle Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Cool Shade. Offering a bar, the property is located within 12 km of Barton Creek Cave. The air-conditioned rooms provide a garden view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. The home made ice cream is a must! Staff were also brilliant with our children.

Jaguar Creek offers accommodation in Caves Branch. The resort has a year-round creek with available tubing as weather permits, barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. We've stayed there twice and loved both experiences! It's on the pricier end of places that we stay, but reading more about the initiatives that they fund in the community makes it clear to see the value. The people are incredibly friendly, and the food is phenomenal (including meat and vegetarian options)!

This family-run lodge offers a health spa, an eco-friendly swimming pool and unique accommodation with private verandas and jungle views. It is set next to the Macal River, in a private rainforest reserve. The Lodge at Chaa Creek was spectacular and a perfect place to stay in the rainforest of Belize. The staff were SO helpful from the moment I booked the trip (via lots of email communication to plan outings, etc) and through our entire stay. The setting there is beautiful and the food at the restaurant was fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here on all fronts!
