The 1-bedroom holiday home features a living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and an oven, and 1 bathroom with a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday home. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We liked everything! The location is simply perfect, just a few meters from the river and across the castle. Two private parking spots were reserved for us. The instructions to open the gate and the door were very clear. We found the place spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The rooms are well equipped with everything you need as a family, even a baby crib was provided for free!

The castle is amazing and has been very well refurbished. Even if it did not have air-conditioning, the temperature was just fine. We were able to take our dog, and she loved running around the vast property. You can also walk down to the river. From the swimming pool you have a lovely view of the castle. There is no restaurant, but if you ask, they can prepare you a few dishes that you can eat either inside or outside overlooking the grounds.

We had to work at the fair from morning to evening for 10 days. To come home after work to this oasis of peace with all the necessary luxury and coziness was the best possible situation that someone who travels for work could imagine. we hope to be able to book it again in the future when we have to be back in Tours.

Fantastic location to visit the Loire area. Quiet, safe, and on walking distance of Amboise village. The jacuzzi in the garden gives an extra luxury feeling. The house is fully equipped and clean. A top recommendation!!

Very tranquil with nice touches of luxury. A nice friendly welcome. Spacious room which was very comfortable with really good amenities. Bluetooth radio was appreciated and the mini bar fridge with good selections. Would have liked to have stayed longer and tried the pool and explored the forest.

This is a fabulous place to stay. Situated close to Tours, it’s in the garden of a historic manor house but faces out onto trees, so it feels tranquil and rural. The decor is impeccable: beautiful design, expensive materials and luxury fittings (for example, I’ve never bought a kettle this glamorous!). The wide bed, with only natural components in the mattress, is beyond comfy. Meanwhile the owner is delightful - happy to help, and she really cares about her property. The friendly dog and jolly cat are the icing on the cake!
