Exceptional service: very nice and friendly staff, open bar with a wide choice of soft beverages and alcohol, delicious food. Here I have to specify that the best 2 restaurants were Main Restaurant and Greek Tavern - here you could always find something special for any of your cravens as well as wide choice of fish and sea food which was cooked for you on grill. The first hotel, where they know how to do perfect eggs. Excellent pools and beach. Very clean rooms and all the facilities. Highly recommend this hotel!

Abaton Island Resort & Spa paikneb imelises asukohas Hersonissoses. The breakfast was excellent but what made the experience exceptional was the staff and a special acknowledgement to George and his breakfast team Despina and Sophia at the reception , Michalis, Danae, Antoni at the beach and Zacharias and Dino - they were all awesome . Our vacation ended with a special touch with an impeccable drive to the airport with Ari who invited us to his hometown and convinced us to return to Crete !

The staff and services were just perfect. Amazing location, architecture, decoration, and facilities. But just wait: that’s nothing compared with the food experience! The food was sophisticated, subtle, delicate, artistically presented, a regal, and certainly worth a few Michelin stars.

Very friendly, helpful staff and amazing breakfast each morning! Great location 10 min drive to Rethymno port, and located 1/2-way between Heraklion and Chania, so great central location to access those areas (and Plakias area in south) while visiting Crete.
