Despite the fact that we were not able to communicate in Italian, our host at Rifugio del Risol and ALL the people of this charming town made us feel more than welcome. We were invited to have dinner at the Trattoria Risol at a discount and had a marvellous meal and an exceptional breakfast there. The kindness of strangers made all the difference. Christina is a wonderful host. This is the second time we stay here and we highly recommend it! The beds are very comfortable, the room was very clean and the kitchenette is very convenient. Even though the weather was still a bit cold for a swim, it was lovely to relax in the solarium. Breakfast served in the room with the option to choose what you wanted was very handy too and good value for money.

Hotel Sporting Family Hospitality ligger i Livigno, 40 km fra Engadin Golf Samedan & Zuoz-Madulain. Truly amazing staff. We came in late due to delays, but they stayed up for us and welcomed us outside the main entrance. They even brought food to our room as the hotel restaurant and other restaurants in town had closed. They really do make you feel welcome. The hotel itself is very nice, feels modern and traditional at the same time. The hotel has absolutely all facilities one would need for a stay on the mountain. The breakfast was also exceptional. We stayed at several hotels throughout the alps and surrounding areas, and this hotel easily had the absolutely best breakfast.

The room was lovely and the bed really comfortable. We had a delicious evening meal in the restaurant where the staff were attentive and efficient. We will definitely be returning in the future.
