Set in Wadi Musa, in a building dating from the 1800s, The Old Village Hotel & Resort offers an outdoor swimming pool and guestrooms with free WiFi. The Old Village is a lovely, authentic, local hotel with excellent amenities. We were greeted warmly by the staff and check-in was a breeze. Once we were shown our charming and comfortable room, we had a good dinner. The selection was clearly great and varied for most guests; however, as vegetarians, the choice was essentially pasta. Breakfast was very nice, as they had a wide-range of international cuisines available. The following morning, we were shuttled by bus to the entrance to Petra and collected 8 hours later - more than enough time to get all the way to the Monastery and back. Overall, The Old Village is a great option for the Petra visitor. I highly recommend

We didn't just like, we fell in love with Lafee the host. Following his advices and proposals along with his company changed all our trip making it a unique life experience one could never imagined. Our kids were crying when we left the place.

Formerly an ancient village called Taybeh, this 5-star resort offers stunning views of the Sharah Mountain Range. Facilities include a fitness room, a traditional hammam, and an outdoor pool. Staff on the hotel were amazing , in particular Mr.Ayman . He is Helpful, kind and respectful. I will recomand this place for any visitor who wants to visit Albatra . location is calm and quite and I really like it.

Offering a spectacular view over Great Rift Valley, Grand Mercure Petra features, free Wi-Fi in all areas, a great indoor pool and lovely outdoor terrace, just a 10-minute drive from Petra. A quiet little property just outside Petra city makes this place a perfect place to unwind from the long journey through Petra and all the chaos of the visitors and noise. The staff were kind and generous and Mohammed N and team made sure to give us all we needed. Though there isn’t much to do at the property they serve you a chocolate bar in the evening and can arrange for a message nearby and also have a heated pool so those are nice touches.

There’s nothing to fault with this hotel, excellent location (literally right outside Petra), beautiful rooms, excellent eating options and wonderful staff. They went above and beyond helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary and made it truly special. It even smelled amazing, no idea how they achieved this! So many thoughtful touches, loved our stay!
