Food and drinks were good, staff was great, parks and workshops were fun, room was big, clean and comfortable. Everyday you received a Mexican treat enclosed in a small weave basket to take home - in addition to your stocked out mini bar and snack tray. You also get to keep the reusable water bottles and beach bag in your room. The communication between me and the hotel via email before arrival was excellent. I was able to reserve activities, airport shuttle, and restaurants prior to my stay. You need a reservation for the restaurant Tah-Xido but it was worth it. I also enjoyed the other restaurants Mercedes de San Juan, Cayuco, and Arenal. The wet bar at the pool was nice and a lot of sitting areas. I recommend this hotel.

Whether we were dining at the gourmet French restaurant, enjoying a more casual poolside lunch, or indulging in some late-night room service, the food was consistently excellent. The grounds of the resort were stunning, meticulously maintained with lush landscaping, and felt like an oasis. We especially loved the peaceful, beautifully landscaped pathways and vibrant flowers throughout. Whether lounging by the pool or strolling along the beach, the views were picture-perfect at every turn.

The hotel and property were terrific; they were among the best I have ever stayed in. The rooms were excellent and well, and the staff aimed to please. The food was out of this world. The buffet was one of the best I have ever been to. From the fresh fish daily to the fresh tacos.

The kindness, hospitality, location, the gardens, the staff. One of our favorite memories of Playa del Carmen, it felt like a quiet oasis from the city. Everyone went above and beyond and i want to go back to Playa del Carmen just so we can stay there again.
