Super lovely local crew, awesome food (thanks Awieee), great diving - the accommodation is remote and basic, but you will finally get a chance to unwind and enjoy nature here. I had an amazing time. I hope I will be back one day.

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. I was astounded when we arrived. it’s pretty big complex, but done amazingly well: all wooden elements, batik accents, beautifully maintained. the common spaces are a pleasure to stroll around and the room itself was spacious, clean, with nice decor, huge bathroom and additional bathtub. loved it! on top of that the staff was helpful and kind, food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced

Extremely kind and accommodating staff. Worked with us from check-in to check-out to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast buffet was incredible with numerous options of both local and international dishes. We liked the pool bar Happy Hour and lunch menu. Great for families. Also, the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The shower was hot and we had everything we needed. We had two adjoining rooms which was very convenient for our family.

El Sepilok Forest Edge Resort es un refugio natural de Sandakan, ubicado a 15 minutos a pie del centro de rehabilitación Sepilok Orang Utan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cabins are hidden in the jungle and the air conditioner worked really well. The location is very convenient to walk to the main tourist attractions in the area.
