Kawai Purapura Yoga Retreat Centre sits on 19-acres of beautiful native bush in north Auckland. The property was exactly as described and that is why I have given it a 10. It is secluded and quiet and there are some permanent residence there and they were all very helpful. There was good communication after booking. Reception is not always manned but there is a key box and they send the details to your e-mail or through booking. The property is what you imagine a yoga retreat would be. The room I had was very basic but clean and 100% as described. Very clean linens and I found the bed comfortable eventhough I am no longer use to sleeping in a single bed. Wifi worked well and there was plenty of showers available for use.

Located 26 km from Auckland, Palm Waiheke Island Resort offers accommodation in Palm Beach. It features views of the sea and is 41 km from Coromandel Town. Short walk to the beach easy to catch the bus into town. Cafe near by.
