Featuring direct beach access, this resort has a barbecue area overlooking the ocean. Each self-contained apartment includes a private balcony or patio. Amazing stay right on the beachfront. Saw the sunrise. Gorgeous hot tub. Sadly, we were only there for 1 night checked in late and left super early in the morning but still appreciated the friendly accommodating staff and location.

Situated in the heart of an eco and wilderness park, Treetops Lodge & Estate offers luxurious suites and villas with views of the forest and lakes. Beautiful lodgings and surrounding. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is just 800 metres from Lake Taupo crater lake. It has a natural thermal spa and is only 5 minutes' drive from the Taupo town centre. Free Wi-Fi is available. The room was large and comfortable with a lovely private deck backing onto a green space. The bathroom was well lit and spacious. The bed super comfy. Everything was clean and there was lots of storage space. The proximity to the hot pools and the discount for entry was great. The staff were awesome - friendly, helpful, attentive, welcoming.

Beachside Resort Motel is less than 5 minutes walk from Whitianga centre and less than 100 metres from Buffalo Beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a tennis court. Nice place to stay with kids. Really close to the beach.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). The Hahei Beach Resort is directly on the beach. It’s easy to go swimming or watch the sunrise or sunset.

Just 8 minutes’ walk from Whangamata Beach, Palm Pacific Resort & Motel boasts an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a tennis court. Great location and fantastic amenities! Pool was clean, tennis equipment supplied, great spa and sauna too. Short walk to both beach & town. Couldn’t go wrong really. Alot bigger than we anticipated. A plus there was a gym we could use, despite being a very short walk away, it was fully stocked and tied into the price which was awesome. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Located on The Esplanade overlooking Tairua Harbour, Paku Lodge Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony and harbour views. Very clean, all rooms have a view. The free use of the double kayak was great.

Located next to the Lost Spring Thermal Pools, this resort offers direct access to Buffalo Beach and has a heated outdoor pool, tennis court and a children's playground. Amazing accomodation.Perfect stay.

Situated atop a cliff above Kariotahi Beach, Castaways Resort boasts views of the Tasman Sea. It is 10 minutes’ drive from Waiuku and 70 kms drive from Auckland city centre. Top end .. everything included , even washing machine dryer.. very clean ..roomy but the best was the view with an amazing terrace . we could not expect better .. all rooms were big and so convenient ..Everything you need in the kitchen.. very nice parking at the door.. short walk to the restaurant .. breakfast buffet was amazing .. Highly recommended for the spectacular view and comfort. You should go to the restaurant for dinner or lunch , best selection. Very friendly and helpful staff at the Reception
