I was pleasantly surprised after reading other recent reviews. My family just wanted to get away, and the water park at the similar hotel doesn't open until 4pm. So, I booked our first night at the other hotel and the second night at Adventureland Inn. At Adventureland Inn, the staff was friendly and accommodating (they even opened the toddler room early because my toddler wanted to play!) The pools and hot tubs there are clean and fun! I only went into the bar to grab some tator tots and drinks, but it's pretty cool too. The room was also clean and fresh. We even had a sliding door with a fenced in outdoor porch! I truly wish we'd spent both nights at this hotel, because at the other hotel we had a very broken bed, were switched to a room with a LOT of mold, then were upgraded to a suite with no shower head.

Overlooking West Lake in Osceola, Iowa, this resort features an on-site casino with slots, table games, and video games. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Always a fun time, if people say what would you like to do for a weekend getaway. I say lakeside!

I have stayed here before and beds and rooms are very nice but I am spoiled and love to have electric open and shutting curtains instead of manual otherwise it was great and it was noisy than previous visits but than again there was main event going on and I was overly tired so sounds where more noticeable.

There were many things missing. It would be better to stay in a regular hotel and drive the 15 miles to the property every day.
