Don't hesitate to book a stay at Phong Nha Farmstay, it really is a gem of a place with comfortable fascilities, a fantastic vibe and great staff. Just the perfect base to both kick off after busy days of travelling and to explore Phong Nha. It might cost a bit more than other places in the region, but it's worth every VND. I ended up staying 3 nights and spent one of those days solely at the farmstay, just enjoying the pool + restaurant and a recommended 5km cycle tour in the valley. The last day I booked one of their easyriders for a tour to Paradise cave and the botanical garden. Can highly recommend! Also, make sure to join the morning walk in the village - it was such a good introduction to the area. My room was even nicer than the pictures (even though I apparently had the smallest room, not the suite as first booked). There are different themes available for dinner every night in addition to the excellent a la carte.

Das Nguyen Shack Retreat Resort Eco Resort bietet private Bungalows im Nationalpark Phong Nha. Die Unterkunft bietet einen Garten und Seeblick. We have been traveling for four weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia, and this was our favorite place by far. Accommodation was very comfortable and private with beautiful views across the lake. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly we would highly recommend the shack retreat.

Das Len Chua ist erst kürzlich eröffnet worden und daher gibt es noch wenige Bewertungen. Aber wir haben es riskiert und waren mehr als glücklich über die Wahl. Alles neu, tolle Aussicht, leckeres Essen, super freundlich, sauber und eigene Höhle! Leider nur auf der Durchreise, sonst hätten wir gerne gleich eine Woche dort verbracht.
