A whole country house for less than the average hotel room. I also had a huge garden with a lake and horses to myself. Amazing. Peaceful.

Cayley Mountain Resort offers accommodation in Bergview, set in the central Drakensberg with views over the Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle ranges. I have been to the other resorts at drakensberg but Cayley mountain resorts out class the rest

Set in the charming Mkhomazana Valley, this resort offers hotel and cottage accommodation, and Southern Drakensberg views. Tours to Sani Pass with 4x4 vehicles depart daily from the resort. The facilities were incredible! the shared spaces, pools and outdoor spaces were excellent. Food was delicious and it was overall incredible value for money.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The staff, food, cleanliness, and the location. I'm a hiker, and the resort backed up onto the Drakensberg Gardens National Park, so many fantastic hikes. After a long day out on the trail, I could come back to a lovely room and relax, go to the sauna, or get a massage. Views were absolutely stunning! And if you have children, it's a fantastic place to take them: playground, swimming, canoeing on a safe pond, horseback riding, mini golf, zipline, etc, etc.

Set in picturesque Bonjaneni, this 4-star hotel complex offers contemporary accommodation with stunning views of the Drakensberg Mountains. Beautiful location and resort with lots of amenities for adults and kids. We enjoyed the flexibility to prepare some of our own meals, but to also enjoy meals at the restaurant. The food and service were really good.
