Everything has been refined to the smallest detail. An ideal location for exploring the Drakensberg. I heartily recommend it.

Cayley Mountain Resort offers accommodation in Bergview, set in the central Drakensberg with views over the Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle ranges. Stayed with family of 10 in 5 Bedroom manor. It is a beautiful home in the mountains. Large dining and lounge area with deck overlooking mountains and hot water splash pool. Very well furnished and designed en suite rooms. Very private with Air conditions and fireplace. Have vacationed extensively in the berg with family. This was by far the most comfortable and memorable. The last few kilometres to resort was a bit challenging however if you drive carefully it’s manageable. All the staff were excellent. Congratulations to management.

Set in the charming Mkhomazana Valley, this resort offers hotel and cottage accommodation, and Southern Drakensberg views. Tours to Sani Pass with 4x4 vehicles depart daily from the resort. It is a nice hotel, we had a lovely stay. We could start our hikes immediately from our hotel. We made use of the wellness and it was great.

Set in picturesque Bonjaneni, this 4-star hotel complex offers contemporary accommodation with stunning views of the Drakensberg Mountains. Alpine Heath is a beautiful, tranquil, kid-friendly resort. There is so much to do my daughter who is 7 years old, could not fit in all the available activities into a day! We had a wonderfully fun-filled vacation, from horse riding, to magic shows Alpine Heath is definitely the perfect destination for families with younger kids. The rooms were clean and staff were extremely attentive, we had atleast 2 check-ins per day from cleaning staff to ensure we were happy and comfortable.
