Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was very cold at times, and it was hard to control the temp on the AC. Other than that, no issues.

What I really like about Al Khoory Hotel Apartments in Dubai is the perfect balance it offers between comfort, convenience, and value. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped — ideal whether you’re staying short-term or for a longer period. I especially appreciate the in-room kitchen facilities, which make it easy to prepare meals and feel at home. The location is also a major plus — it’s close to everything: major roads, shopping centers, local eateries, and tourist attractions. Whether I want to explore the city or just relax, it’s all within reach. The staff is consistently friendly, professional, and helpful, always going the extra mile to make the stay comfortable. A special mention goes to the room service staff — they were really nice and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Big thanks to them for their attentiveness and warm hospitality! The gym and other amenities are well-maintained, and the overall vibe of the hotel is peaceful and welcoming. It’s one of those rare places where you get hotel-level service with the comfort of home.

Bathtub a bit old
Shaun pereira was the first person I met. He was excellent. Very polite and very helpful. I told him I needed to have a late checkout (6pm), he didn't over charge me like other hotels, very good service. He also gave me an upgrade. Facilities were actually really good especially given the price. Sauna steam room and pool all good. Bed v comfortable, all very clean. Unsuite bathtub could do with a change but otherwise 10 out of 10

Dirty flor, I think the hotel needs to buy a large floor washing machine. Everyone's socks turned black. The balcony is locked. It's strange, but thank you for opening it when asked. It's also very dirty there.
Very spacious & comfy. Stuff are cute. Pool is perfect. We had to meet a friend who was passing through Dubai. Overall, our stay at the hotel was great. We rented a two-bedroom apartment.
