There was no restaurant for an evening meal in the hotel. But the staff were very helpful to guide you to town to find restaurants, not far from the hotel.

Super friendly staff on reception. Claudia Lang couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. She provided great advice on where to walk our dog and directions to get to the old town. The location is great and the rooms were clean and comfortable and there is parking onsite - a bog plus. All in all, it was great for our short stay!

hard to choose - if i was picky, i think the A/C unit made a bit of a noise but i know this is related to the type of unit and not a fault as such. I also think they charge too much for breakfast and i am sure that must affect sales. I'd have thought a continental option for a lower rate would be attractive to lots of travellers including us.

My 2nd visit to Triller Hotel and its my new-found gem in the new-found gem of a city in Saarbrucken. Love the novel approach to the hotel with the graphics and room layouts - its super-modern and gives the room a great feel. We had the penthouse room which is spacious and comfortable with a little balcony overlooking the town. Its a great location with a short (but hilly) walk down to the town and what a beaut of a town it is - with a lovely square giving plenty of restaurant options. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and made to feel welcome - they kept me a space in their car-park for my motorcycle too which keeps me happy. Looking forward to returning on next years motorcycle tour!

The check in process was atrocious. Was sent an email to pre check in. Very clumsy if you are trying to check in two rooms booked in one name. On entering the hotel the code was not recognised.

Bicycles could be stored in the undercover carpark but it was open to the public so not very secure.

We were able to check-in early for a fee and the air conditioning was on already to cool the room down - a nice touch. We were upgraded to a penthouse which had a beautiful view of the city, especially at night. The restaurant was not open the night we stayed but we were able to buy a bottle of wine from them and have it in our room later. The receptionist was super friendly, and went out of her way to be helpful. Good breakfast buffet.

As noted above, a luggage ramp to the door would be helpful.

Good breakfast buffet. The hotel was easy to find, with on-site parking, which was great. We didn't like the steps up to the front door - two old people with luggage - we struggled a bit getting our bags up. Staff were super friendly, and were very sweet to our dog, including providing a good quality treat that he loved, and a water bowl. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was very convenient after a long day of driving; the food was EXCELLENT, and the service friendly and attentive. It was a great stay altogether.

We traveled with 3 rottweilers with us and we found nothing but acceptance and kindness. The hotel is smart, modern, the rooms were perfectly clean and spacious. We loved our staying there. Very nice quality-price balance. Plus we didn't pay anything for the dogs, that is always a nice thing when you travel with so many dogs.

Check in was a bit tedious and don't try to park a large car underneath unless you are a very good driver. Do yourself a favor and just park outside.

Very nice hotel in a quiet location but very close and within walking distance to the Castle and town center! Quick and easy check in! Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Nice spacious room with new nice bathroom. Nespresso coffee in the room was a treat! Nice welcome card was waiting for us in the room as well as air-condition on on a warm day! Very good breakfast. Plenty of parking spaces around for a fee. Overall very nice stay at Am Triller.
