Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Really liked the room size, very big. Bathroom was also very big. The beds were comfortable too. Staff were helpful and let us store our bags in the storage room. Staff came and emptied bins and gave us extra toilet paper/fresh towels when needed. Lovely service and in a very nice neighborhood. Close to S-bahn and grocery stores. Decor is outdated, but still functional. And we liked how it looked. Walls were a little thin, but we had no trouble sleeping through the noise.

The elevator was unsafe. You can open the door while running. Killer machine.

the toilet did not work when I arrived. It was quickly fixed and it was not a big problem. The bathroom / pipes smelled on and off during the stay though.
The location was very good, and good size of the rooms. Staff was nice and helpful.

The bathroom was dark and small and had no Fan. Shampoo and hand wash were the same liquid.
The Receptionist was nice. The room was clean, big and bright. Big windows to a good picture. The room had Tv and Safe and Sliding wardrobe and the mirror was in good place :)) 10 minutes away from Supermarkets (Lidl,Rewe,...). It was a good experience at all.

The lift needs repairs, the room was very old fashioned though I liked the high ceilings and huge bathroom but the bathtub, toilet etc needs to be renovated.

The carpet on the Stairway of the whole building is broken and that looks poor. There is only a small old lift, for me no problem but perhaps for groups of older people not handy. There was a lot of noise in the evening and the cleaner lady who was very nice was too noisy on 6:30 every morning. Apart from the lift these are the things that can be improved.
Everything simple but efficiënt. Good continental breakfast with good filter coffee. Very friendly and helpfull team. Rooms are efficiënt compared to many fancy modern hotels that I visited. enough space, efficiënt bathroom, enough towels, good nice bed. So from the facilities and the price-quality I'm happy.

The hotel is very dated, but it has everything what you need: very clean sheets and towels, toilettes, hair dryer. So if you neet one night stay with good location, but cheap then it’s a good choice.

Unfortunately, the elevator wasn’t working and I had to climb five levels to get to my room and having just had hip surgery. It took me 90 minutes to get to my room. Management did nothing to help and no apologies were received.

The room was noisy, it was too easy to hear people in other rooms through the open window, and there were other guests talking loudly late into the night.
Room was clean and comfortable, but the facilities seemed somewhat dated. The staff was very helpful.
