Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I can imagine that the parking might be a problem for some as the free parking zone right by the hotel is not much (I am quite fine with it). However, there is a big public parking area nearby (at Annaturmplatz, less than 5 mins walking distance). I am mentioning it here, so people can be prepared before travelling to the hotel.
The room is nice, cozy and very comfortable, and I had a very good night's sleep. I was surprised by the quality of the breakfast, and I enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and overall I had a great experience staying over there.

Don't be put off by the exterior of the building as inside is clean, comfortable and a pleasant experience. We were offered secure parking for our motorcycle by the friendly and helpful manager. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Location is very close to town centre with a variety of shops and restaurants.

Would have rated it 10/10, however booked hotel for the reason of having parking inc. On arrival the car park was full (only limited spaces). Took 20 mins to locate an alternate car park. For reference there are a couple of secure car parks nearby and only cost 6 euros for over night so not too expensive.

The room was very basic and bit outdated but served the purpose. The breakfast was excellent- so much to choose from! Really really amazing spread for brekkie. Check in and check out was smooth. Had an event that ran til 4am in the morning and accessing the hotel at that time was no problem at all. Really good value for money. Thank you Hotel Regent. Location was perfect too. Right in the centre. Easy to walk everywhere. About 10-12 mins walk from the train station

Staff was a bit grumpy. Charged 2.50 euros for a super small cup of coffee. I had a tough time getting into the place since I didn’t have phone service.
Location was nice… by a square with shops. Room was nice and quiet. Good to have parking but not secure.

Parking was a bit crowded but there is a large car park just up the road free on weekdays from 1800 until 0900 the next morning
Friendly welcoming staff, spoke English well which was good as our German isn't the best.

Wi-Fi was a problem and I struggled to join a couple work calls that I had planned. I first tried in the common area and then in the room itself. The latter was a bit be better but still not strong enough for Zoom.
Great location in the centre with parking. The room was spacious with an excellent shower. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was tasty.

The reception is up two flights of stairs, which might be a problem for some disabled guests. The parking area is very small and around the corner from the hotel. The hotel was fully booked when I stayed and there were possibly nine or 10 vehicles in the car park and I found it very difficult to get my car in because people had left a large gap between their vehicles.
Beautifully maintained. Everything was clean, tidy and in typical German fashion.

The car parking wasn’t near hotel. Difficult for an older person to carry luggage.
It was clean, bathroom area was adequate but very small, pictures on website didn’t show this.

Very hard to comunicate. They don t speak english. They don't what to put the stamp on my delegation file because they believe that I will do somerhing else with the stamp!!! They treat me like I was try to scam them. In the evening starting at 21:00 they use a hammer and it was loud that you can't sleep. All this knocking took more then one hour. I'm very disappoint of the ospitality of this hotel!

Everything was very good so nothing that we didn't like. If anything there could be more parking but this wasn't a problem for us.
Efficient check-in at reception and a really comfortable and well appointed room. The location was ideal for us for an overnight stop on the way to the south of Germany. Very quiet too.
