We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThe room was pretty small and there was considerable wear and tear on several items. The bathroom door in particular was crumbling so it was unpleasant stepping on the floor. The shower drain might be clogged because it took a long time for the water to drain, so it seeped out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor. One of the blankets was visibly dirty so we had to sleep without it
The check-in process was very quick and even though we didn't meet any staff, it went smoothly. The room had its own bathroom which was very important to us, and we had hot water in the shower. There is a parking space near the hotel which seems like it's reserved for guests (although the signs weren't very clear about that). The Wi-Fi connection worked pretty well for one of us

New ZealandDidn’t get a key to the locker which was a lock by key only cupboard in the room so couldn’t secure property. There were high/drunk people slumped over on the doorstep, and no staff were ever in the property. One of the beds in my room was empty but dirty (didn’t get remade) the 2 nights I was there. The toilets kept running out of paper so you had to take from other bathrooms. All the chairs were up on the kitchen tables the entire time I was there. Fridge full of mouldy food.
The beds had a corner each and a wall in the middle separating the beds so felt fairly private. Great beer and burger bar across the road with quirky decor and friendly staff.

CroatiaKitchen window was open all the time, so this area was always chilly. Last couple of days the KFC store beneath made reinovation, so throughout the day the drilling noise took place.
Hot showers, refrigerator, separate toilets etc. Good news is - a manager will listen to your claims after 5-6 tries. Just be consistent :)

GermanyOverall not very clean and some broken appliances like lamps. No kitchenware for the kitchenette. The common shared kitchen only had one usable pot and pan for all people to share. Never saw anyone who worked there to ask them about stuff.
Very nice location, convinently close to public transport and shops. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Also the kitchenette in the room included a private fridge and freezer unit.

SwedenIt was very difficult to find the entrance as the hotel is situated in the inner yard and there is no proper sign indicating that this is the hotel entrance. We spent around ten minutes figuring out where the entrance is and then we met another person who also couldn't find the entrance: his code didn't work and there was no receptionist to resolve the problem. The problem with the parking: the hotel didn't reserve parking slots for its own clients and there was limited street parking. The smell of trash on the stairs was unbearable. The room was very tiny.
Check-in and check-out were automatic. Wi-FI worked very well, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom and room were clean. There was a common kitchen with cutleries, plates, cups, a fridge, and a kettle.

Nothing special but all was ok. Rather clean and quiet. KFC downstairs if you like. I didn't smell it in my room though. An easy contactless system of checking-in and - out.
