Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No soap dispenser in the shower. You need to improvise
Perfect for the railway station. Very comfortable bed, surprisingly big room, amazingly quiet inside given its location. Great breakfast. Fantastic value for a German city centre hotel

The pillow was a bit flat and one of the beds had a belt wrapped around the bottom that made it a tad uncomfortable, but everything else was perfect
Friendly staff, perfect location, great value for money, very accommodating with our little daughter. Perfect for an evening in Bremen.

Nothing. No issues
Location . Special mention to the building designers. Despite being beside the train station and tram stops there was no noise. It’s the quietest hotel I have ever been in.

The location is not very safe at night (drug dealing and alcohol consumption down the street). Lack of privacy (2nd floor with view on the bus/train station.
Well located, easy access to transport and city center. Clean and nor too pricey.

There was something sticky on the wall that we had to wipe when we first arrived.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The windows were also able to keep all the sound out from the street below. Perfect place for doing a day trip as the main station for trains and trams were right next to us.

On the downside, there is considerable room for improving safety: The neighbourhood is dodgy; therefore, it is crucial that no one can be tailgated. The main gate on the ground floor does not open immediately; there is a waiting period outside, and once you are in the foyer, the door remains open for a while—sufficient time for any stranger to enter the foyer. Furthermore, any stranger can hide inside the lifts, as I unfortunately witnessed myself. If you are a female solo traveller, I would advise against returning too late, as the later it gets, the more dodgy it becomes. Life is risky, but there is no need to feel unsafe in your hotel. Note that during the daytime, it is safe.
The bedroom is big and comfortable and extra clean. Although it is in front of the train station, it is very quiet if the windows are closed. There is everything you might need in the surroundings: trams, supermarkets, restaurants... And the city centre is only 10 mins walks away.

Nothing springs to mind
Location suited my needs, also found the bed very comfortable. I also liked the touch about the little reward if you didn't require your room to be cleaned which I have never come across before. Also despite being in a busy area with the trams just outside the room was quiet with no outside noise therefore helping in a decent night's sleep..

Not a very comfortable bed. Also I would skip breakfast as the selection is very small and not great quality food.
Spartan interior with just the basics. The location right opposite the Train Station is perfect, easy check in, staff was nice. Excellent price for a room.
