Spacious apartments with a kitchen. Loved that there was a restaurant attached and we a family of 9 didn't have to take the kids far for a great meal. Staff were friendly and helpful.

1. Parking is available but there is cat in the midnight that crawl over on the car with stain 2. Hard to find the location at night as the sign wasn't clear 3. Huge room that seem to be scary 😅 4. Just have to take note there is a levy charges apply during check out which was not shown?!

1. The room and the bathroom is so spacious 2. The view from the hotel to the lake is fabulous 3. Honeymoon or family trip is recommended as the hotel have its own restaurant

I honestly cannot think of anything I didn't like about Hotel San Marco, other than I only had 2 nights there!

The location is so picturesque and also lovely and quiet. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, managing to run a busy restaurant while still making sure every customer was seen and heard. The apartments are separate to the restaurant, just a short stairway at the side leading up to a clean, spacious and very well decorated set of rooms. Not a lot of options for shops if you intend being self catering, but I would highly recommend the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner, wonderful food at very reasonable prices. If you don't have a car, the number 56 bus outside the train station in Fussen gets you easily between Fussen centre and the hotel (which is approx 2km away). Be aware there are no buses running on a Sunday morning but the staff are happy to help arrange a taxi if you need one. This will definitely be on my list of return travels.

It could have had a few things in the kitchen like coffee filter for the machine and we couldn't find a wine opener.

Clean rooms and everything else was perfect! Beautiful mountain view from the window. The Italian restaurant downstairs is absolutely 10/10.

The hotel is in the center of Füssen, easy to reach and close to everything. There is parking available both inside and outside the building.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel San Marco. The hotel has beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It feels peaceful and full of holiday spirit. The receptionist, Mrs. Deniz, was very kind and always ready to help.

Having to pay extra to park on site. Kettle, cups, saucers and spoon provided ... but no coffee sachets, tea or sugar!

Lovely, well appointed room with view from balcony. Excellent choice and quality of food for evening meal. Unfortunately we stayed on a Monday evening and Tuesday am the hotel is closed. We cannot, therefore comment on breakfast.

The location was perfect on the lake side but the greatest find was the Italian resteraunt underneath the apartment hotel. The staff looked after all our needs and the food was wonderful. Great atmosphere.

1st world problems but an iron would have been handy. Asked reception and not one available. Parking in the garage is tight, limited spaces too but as above, plenty of parking out front. Otherwise, nothing else not to like.

We stayed in the top floor appartment (room 9). The balcony is a proper sun trap in the morning. Not the best view available for the lake but it's a very nice view none the less. The apartment had what we needed, although it could do with an iron and ironing board. Nice modern smart TV. Wifi was ok. The sofa is lovely, very comfy for a nap. Modern and well furnished. The bed is super comfy and there is a fan for those warmer evenings. The window shutters in the bedroom are just awesome! Clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast here (a bakery is 3 mins walk) but we did have dinner one evening and the food was good, reasonably priced too. It seemed to be one of the busiest restuarants along the strip. Certainly very popular anyway. Plenty of choices locally otherwise. Staff were nice. Location is great, 20 metres from the lake. 5 mins drive from supermarkets (Edeka and Lidl), 10 mins from Fussen (€18 in a taxi) or 15 mins drive to Schloss Neuschwanstein. Parking garage available but off road parking is plentiful (ticketed €1.50 hr 9am-6pm).

Superb view over lake. Staff helpful. Parking in garage was good (seven euros I think). We had our evening meal in the hotel - food was very good. We didn’t sample breakfast. There was a kettle in our room but no tea bags/coffee/milk etc
