SwitzerlandI appreciate the professionalism of the staff, especially Mr. Mitchie, but every single employee was very kind and willing to accommodate my requests. One area the hotel could improve is the breakfast, which is a bit poor. And as for noise, perhaps the walls in the rooms could be soundproofed, as you can sometimes hear the neighbors talking.

Hotel has a great location and it’s very clean (room was cleaned every day). Breakfast is good, maybe some warm dishes were missed. Dining room is also very small. Great thing is that hotel has an elevator and cot available, which was important for us due traveling with a baby. Good value for money!

United KingdomThe walls were thin and the pipes loud. This was a bit of a shock on my first night as there must've been a shower right through the wall from bed as it sounded like I was in the pipe... But it was less bad on subsequent days, and I got used to it. It actually served as a sorta alarm for the mornings!
The hotel is perfectly located between the main shopping street and city hall square, within walking distance of the sights and easy reached by metro from the airport. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the roof terrace was a bonus. The room was compact but nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was pretty basic but more than adequate.

United StatesThe shock was the delay at the front desk plus directions to my room indicated take the elevator then when I got off the elevator there were STEPS and I had to lug up my suitcase and carry-on. Fortunately there was a "cleaning lady" who helped me get my luggage up the steps. I should have been offered assistance by a bell hop. I liked your restaurant but the menu was a little limited. I couldn't figure out how to operate the shower (turn on) and had to redress while someone came to show me how to use.

AustraliaThe shower size was so small. Just the action of lifting your arms up was tight. My husband had to open the door to bend down to wash his lower legs. We did not need air-conditioning on our visit, but our room had a window that could be opened. We only saw one central air vent that we could not control the temperature in the room. But as I explained we didn't need this but it's something to know before you book in summer.
The location was great. Our room was exactly what was advertised in photos. We had two single beds as requested so the room was spacious for that configuration.

United KingdomJuice carafes are not large for the 30 person breakfast room. Disappointing checkin process- bag dropped off early as checkin understandably unavailable, with passport scanned. That would have been a good time to also take payment etc, which on returning to the hotel that afternoon to a long queue of people was not opportune. Air con working but not amazing. Bathroom had a pube on the roof and yellow stain on the shower curtain - cleaner rectified the pube but yellow stain unable to be removed from curtain. Staff at single manned reception desk pushed to ask customers in front of checkin queue to add breakfast to their stay, rather than getting through the queue behind.

JapanWatch out for the drinks and snacks vending machine on the first floor. Try to put in exact change as much as possible: when I was there it was pretty finicky about whether it wanted to give you change or not.
Great location. Sweet Hotel Continental is inside Ciutat Vella and a lot of sightseeing spots are *very* near by: Central Mercado (A++, must-visit), Catedral de Valencia, Ajuntament de Valencia, Ceramics Museum ... and there are also a lot of nearby cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself isn’t bad either and the staff are very accommodating - even after we checked out, they let us store our bags in lockers and let us hang out in the lobby killing some time until we had to leave for the airport. Also, I mention that the vending machine is a bit wonky, but the reception staff did their best to get a mechanic, *and* the mechanic was a VERY nice person who, after doing their best to explain that they weren’t allowed to touch the money, thereafter helpfully phoned his company and obtained permission to give me my change, although I had given up on getting change for my €10.

IrelandThis Hotel is perfect for a Stay in Valencia, if you intend to be out and about. It could do with having a small fridge in the room, and the air con was fairly weak.
Very central Hotel ,near to the metro, Nord train station, it's situated amidst beautiful streets , historic buildings and beautiful architectural buildings.. Valencia has so much to offer .

Location is great - money vs value is ok. For a 2 star hotel it’s great. Dont expect much. Room and bathroom are very small (but clean). Staff are nice. It is noisy inside the rooms from other guests. I think from the walla or thin doors - highly recommend to bring ear plugs with you, would be a game changer.
