Somewhat lacking in amenities for the price I paid. You don’t get much for the price compare to other hotels. The restaurant food was so bland and depressing.

The restaurant area has no natural light and dinner starting at 8.30 pm is much too late for us. So we decided to change to room only.We are very grateful to the receptionist who made this change so easily for us.

The bedroom was clean and comfortable as were the main spaces in the hotel.The staff were friendly and the reception staff very helpful. The swimming pool is large and well kept and there are usually parking spaces although the car park is always pretty full.

We found the hotel very clinical. The dining room was in the basement and was more like a cafeteria. First morning at breakfast a waiter was pushing a large trolley around laying up for dinner. The second morning we went down for breakfast at 9.00 a.m to discover that all the dining room was already laid for dinner and we were put right in a corner. The staff never greeted you and weren’t at all welcoming. The hotel is at the top of a hill and might put some people off walking down to the seafront but it didn’t bother us.

The hotel is very modern and there was free parking. Our bedroom was an excellent size with two large single beds. Saunces is a very pretty typically Spanish seaside resort with plenty of restaurants.

Room was clean and comfortable but nowhere to put anything apart from the wardrobe shelves. Hangers in the wardrobe were too big and it was very difficult to move the sliding doors. Absolutely nowhere in the bathroom for toiletries apart from around the basin. No shelf in the shower.

Poor staff on the reception just given keys with very little info apart from explaining floor levels, had to ask what time breakfast was. Breakfast poor didn’t think it was worth the extra

Room was slightly small and balcony not really worth having as very small. No eating facilities through the day and the bar was a bit strange.

A big disappointment. Our room with balcony - attic room with slanted ceilings opening out to a tiny patio (looked more like a water drain). On Tippie toes to see the sea. Both the hotel and room lacked character, warmth and atmosphere - felt like a morgue

i didn’t like that they didn’t have towels for the pool , would have happily paid to hire one, not great if your travelling light. I would have also liked to have had option of boiled eggs at breakfast and not just scrambled.

Noisy corridors. Could hear doors often being banged closed from far down the corridors to bedroom and noise from the breakfast room. Breakfast was dreadful; cheap products as well as somethings being set out and gone stale before guests arrived, stale bread, greasy congealed eggs and bacon, warm juices, tasteless yogurt- we arrived as soon as the doors opened for breakfast so there are no excuses for poor food. Service in the breakfast room was unfriendly and staff disinterested in customer comfort

total lack of any information. no timing of dinner or breakfast. no telephone number for reception no menu complete lack of any communication whatsoever. reported poor toilet flushing at 1600 engineer arrived at 2200!!

Tricky parking, but then it was the peak week in August. So normally maynot be a problem.

Room, services, location and price. Very bad hotel.

This is not a 4 stars hotel. No services, some rooms are really small. A night in this hotel for almost 200€ is just a joke
