The check-in process was kind of slow. Perhaps it is local “normal” but to me this seemed slow.

This small town and this vibe there is reason why I returned there again. Not too crowded.

Who rated this hotel as one star?? I think this hotel deserve 3 star. Clean spacious room and nice breakfast and half boarding was worth for money. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, big swimming pool was closed for season. You can work to the Tossa de mar beach and castle within 10 min. This hotel does not have parking lot, but I was able to find free public parking lot near by.

Plenty of choice for breakfast and the evening meal, the staff are really good and helpful. The pool is good and the outside area has relaxed feel. Car parking is good.

The bed seemed rather short, if you're 6' or taller your feet would hang over the edge. Soundproofing could definitely be improved.

The room was more than adequate, the bed very comfortable. We were upgraded, so we had a balcony overlooking the pool. Tennis courts were also available. The dinner was plentiful buffet style and very reasonably priced. My allergies were catered for without any problems. The included continental breakfast buffet was very good. You'd be hard pressed not to find something you could eat. We paid for parking on site, although we could have chosen to leave the car on the street for free.

We paid for table water during our dinner buffet and the housekeeper wasn't thorough with the cleaning of the rooms.

A kettle in the rooms would be handy for making a cup of tea!

The quality of the hotel is better than the 1* rating suggests. Our room was basic but exceptionally clean and daily service was available if required. The a/c was very effective. The pool was big and there were plenty of sun beds available. Breakfast was as good as any other we’ve had in more expensive hotels.

The rooms were very hot and the fans didn't appear to make any difference. As it was a triple room, it's was a very small hot space to share, making sleeping difficult Air-conditioning would have really made the difference to our stay.

The pool area is fantastic and well maintained. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and it gets the sun all day. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We had a room with a balcony which was nice to sit out in the evenings. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the centre of everything and the beach. Perfect location. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were very friendly. It's a quiet location and we did not hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms or from the road. Staff kindly stored our luggage for us as we had a late flight.

The swimming pool was exceptional, not many people at the time, beautiful space for sun-beds, table tennis at no extra cost. Good selection for breakfast menu, and dinner, air conditioned dining room.

Although there were enough sun beds there were not enough parasols and it was very hot some days and people needed shade by the pool. You have to pay to park in the hotel which seems a bit unfair.

The hotel is in a convenient location and only a short walk to the beach and shops of the old town. The pool was a good size and there were always enough sun beds. The breakfast had a good selection of food. Most staff we encountered were helpful and friendly . Our room was a large family room with air con and good sized bathroom. We had a good sized balcony.

Location! Breakfast was great. Staff is wonderful! Very comfortable common spaces. Loved the pool and bar open late. Happy to have a fan in the bedroom because it was warm!

We booked a cheap room without AC (our fault) but the fan was enough to keep us cool at night! And they very kindly brought us a second fan when we asked. One morning we went to fill our water at the breakfast and a woman gave out to us and was quite rude.

Loved the pool, perfect walking distance to the beach, excellent breakfast, pool table/ tennis table great additions too! The staff were all so lovely and welcoming and helpful!! (Except for one, I think she was a manager)

Personally, I hate the glass enclosures that are one pane covering only 1/3 of tub. In addition, the shower had no closure at all, so the bathroom floor got very wet. It would be nice if the bar still had some kind of food to buy after 3 pm at the pool.

We had a large quadruple on the corner with two balconies. Bathroom was roomy with a shower in the tub and another standalone shower. This was good for our family. The parking was convenient as we had a rental car. Easy 10-15 minute walk to restaurants and beach. Breakfast was good.

They did have some gluten free options but it was really limited, I am also lactose intolerant and most of the food besides the fruit was a no for me. This is something to improve, the options available were really bland.
