Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaDinner selection could be a bit richer, also some diecious were really without taste. Rooms are a little outdated already, but we're regularly cleaned. Bed shits could be replaced. No internal or heated pool, which can be a problem if bad weather
Spacious balcony, decent breakfast, evening entertainment with magician, free table pool in the yard, very friendly receptionists, good value for money overall

EstoniaThe dishes were occasionally dirty (poorly washed). The noise in the corridor echoed in the rooms.
The hotel had its own pool where you could spend time and various local equipment (swimming ring, swimming mattress, balls, etc.). Dinner changed every night with different food, which was pleasant and varied.

PolandHowever, there were some key amenities missing in the room that affected the convenience of our stay. There was no bottled water provided, nor were there any cups, a refrigerator, or an electric kettle with tea and coffee, which are usually standard in many hotels. Additionally, there was a charge for towel replacement, which felt a bit excessive considering the room rate.
I had a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, providing the perfect environment to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was incredibly friendly and always eager to help with any request, making us feel truly welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was included with our booking, and we were impressed by the variety and quality of the food. Whether you prefer a light meal or a more substantial breakfast, there was something for everyone.

NorwayWhilst the staff were excellent, especially Adrian on reception, the management is terrible and have a system in place not designed for unexpected events. We had an issue with the room (bugs continued to come in even after killing them) and needed to move. Adrian told us that there were no rooms of the same class available. He said we can either accept a downgrade or pay for an upgrade. When I said this is unacceptable, he contacted his boss. The boss said that we could sleep in another room for 1 night only, but we were not allowed to bring our things there, just sleep. We could then sort it in the morning. After sleeping in the new room, we go to reception and we are presented with the same options. Oxana, like Adrian, said that only management has the authority to give upgrades. As it was a weekend, nothing could be done. Being forced to either pay for an upgrade we don’t want, accept a downgrade or move and pay even more for a new hotel, we felt trapped. It is not our fault that the hotel didn’t have any rooms of the same class available and it is bad that we should be disadvantaged because of that. We contacted Booking.com who assured us that if we take the upgrade they will sort compensation. When booking.com tried to claim it from the hotel, they simply said the case was closed as we paid for the upgrade. We only paid for the upgrade because of the assurance of booking.com and I told this to reception. It’s clear Adrian and Oxana were just doing their jobs, but a management that doesn’t allow staff to make decisions when they are away is not good for staff or customers. I hope the management learn from this and delegate more responsibility to staff when they are not at work. You cannot run a hotel through micro management. The rest of the stay was excellent so I hope the management do take on board this feedback constructively. What I don’t want is a combative reply from the management, just a simple acknowledgment of error.
It’s nice to have a property that strictly enforces a no-towels on sun lounger policy. There were always beds available. Really nice location on the outskirts, just a short walk from the centre. Great facilities and nice atmosphere. Also very good entertainment. I would happily stay here again, just be prepared if there is a problem and management aren’t at work.

Netherlands- Despite the warnings about non-smoking room and prohibited in open areas, this is not what happens. Customers were allowed to smoke anywhere and even stimulated, based on the wide number of ashtrays spread on room balconies and at snack bar tables. So, windows always closed to avoid the smoke to get in. - Due to the room door locker type, they were slammed all the time. If you try to sleep a little bit over 8 AM, it is impossible. - Walls are too thin, so you can hear everything from the room next to yours, including children screaming, crying or people having arguments. - Internet Wi-Fi was not good, even though I didn't care about it. - Definitely not a place to just sleep, meditate or work remotely.
The staff was amazing. The room was spacious and super clean. The vibe at the hotel was super high. Good restaurants and the beach few blocks away. Super easy to reach the hotel from the airport by bus. The pool was always clean. Very good breakfast.
