Only issue was smell of drains from toilet sink.

Great location. Friendly staff. Allowed us to check in early. A balcony was good too. Lovely bright room. Bed was super comfortable. 24 hour reception to check out at 5.50am. Air conditioning excellent.

Unfortunately, the bed sheets were not changed after the previous guests. The bed was full of hair. The receptionist reacted immediately and helped me change the sheets to clean ones. I would recommend that the hotel's cleaning staff be more empathetic and imagine that they arrive in the evening after a long solo trip and cannot even lay on a clean bed. So stressful and unpleasant situation. :(

Even though I followed all the instructions for turning on the air conditioning... it couldn't get more than 19 degrees Celsius in the room 403.. we kind of froze during the night.

Walls are so thin you can hear all the neighbours. The mattress is too firm (even for me who likes firm mattresses).

Great location, only a few minutes from the station and the start of the walk to the castle. Lots of nearby restaurants and cafes. Good value breakfast in a nearby cafe (pay at the San Remo) Clean room, great shower, balcony. All staff were amazing.

The room was a bit tight. Bed was close so close to the wall that it was hard to get around it and get to the closet. The air-conditioning had blocked and only works on the lowest setting. The bathroom was clean but also very tight. You had to be very careful not to knock anything over. There was no kettle, no glasses , water, tea or coffee in the room.

Location is really good, bus stop , shops, restaurants very close.

Well, I was very satisfied with the hotel, also comparing to the price. The only thing that was missing for me is that some people of the personnel didn't speak English well, but in the end it wasn't a huge obstacle to understand each other.

An excellent location of the hotel enables getting everywhere on foot. Around the hotel you can find a lot of cafeterias, restaurants and shops. I really like the comfortable bed, balcony and air conditioning. As some people write that the bathroom is small - it is, but it is enough and btw in Alicante you would need to stay in a hotel located in a modern, new building to have a "normal" size bathroom (and a "normal" size elevator). An added value for San Remo is - reception 24h and cleaning service every day.

There was nothing we didn't like as the hotel met our expectations for the price we paid. The room is really comfy and clean but is small, as is the balcony. The walls/doors are also quite thin so you hear everything if others are moving around the hotel. There is also only one lift which is quite basic with a manually operated door which is a little noisy when other guests slam it shut. Our suggestion is use lift for going up but use stairs for going down!

A perfect little hotel right in the middle of Alicante - you are literally 10 minute walk from everything - Beach, Mercado, Plaza Luceros, RENFE station, Mushroom Street (Calle San Francisco). The staff are really friendly and the well laid out room was cleaned to a high standard. The beds were OK and we slept well. Bathroom was nice with an excellent shower. The air con unit was a blessing too! There are no breakfast facilities and, being a 1 star, there is no tea/coffee in room but there are loads of cafes in a square literally outside the hotel for a proper spanish desayuno under the trees!!! But please bear in mind that this is a 1 star hotel so facilities you may expect are not included but for the price you pay in the centre of Alicante, this is actually great value. It is all very basic and reminded us of EasyHotel. We will definitely come back here next time.
