The rear patio doors did not lock making the property insecure. This had been mentioned by previous reviews over a year ago, and it was disappointing to see that this had not been rectified. My party consisted of all adults, but it was very concerning that the property was not securable.

Fantastic location and spacious villa. The garden area and roof top bathing area is brilliant. The place was very clean and well equipped.

There doesn’t seem to be any hot water to the kitchen sink. There were quite a lot of cigarette stumps in the garden boarders. The pool area was lovely, but the water was too cold for us to get in (December)

The location is exceptional, next to the beach and across from all the bars and restaurant. It’s in a really central location, but was still quiet and private. There are composite shutters on the windows, which completely black out the bedrooms of an evening. I am quite a light sleeper, but had a couple of lie-ins, as the sun didn’t wake me up. We had a couple of rainy spells, but as part of the patio is covered, we were still able to sit outside. We never struggled to park right outside.

Unfortunately there were a couple of things which seemed to have been neglected in the last year. The rear door was very hard to lock and looked like someone had tried to break in. Luckily my son has long arms and was able to reach over the front gate to open it as the external latch was not working. The gate to the pool had a problem with the external lock ant the kitchen light worked sometimes and not others. All of the above , however, did not affect our holiday enjoyment

We stayed in the villa last November and booked for this year as soon as we returned. the villa is so close to all amenities. we love the architecture and roominess, the pool was so clean and we only saw 3 other people while we were there.

After years of walking past this villa and checking every year for it be available on the dates I needed, we finally got it . Villa Sávila didn’t disappoint , plenty of room inside and outside for my family of 7. Access to the shared pool was a bonus. The two ladies who came to change the sheets and towels after our first week didn’t just do that they even cleaned the floors. All question were answered very promptly. Location is excellent you are literally a 2 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute for the first lot of great bars that Caleta has to offer. There are 6 sunbeds on a little grass area by the gate to the pool and 4 further more on the roof terrace. A great barbecue at the front which we did make use of and a sitting area too. The villa made us so relaxed that some night we just stayed in with a glass or two of sangria playing cards on the large table at the back of the villa.

The only thing that we did not like was the sofa and chair was not comfortable when you wanted to sit in the lounge.

The location is perfect, right in the centre of town opposite the beach. The pool although shared was like having a private pool because nobody else used it but if they did it was big enough to not cause any issues. The roof terrace was excellent for the sun all day and private. Everything you would need ie kitchen utensils was there. The correspondence we had with the owner was good and everything such as access on the first day went to plan

I don’t like having to buy toilet paper. €2-€3 a week would cover the cost of host supplying this.

I liked the location, the space and comfort provided in the house, front and rear terraces could provide sun or shade. Lovely seaside flat walks and safe swimming. What was a huge plus was having access to the property without the need for keys. So no worries about losing keys.

The front door , was sent a link to open the gate and the door which didn’t work, When we finally by opened the door manually the was no lights and the place was alarmed which we were not told about , we had security shouting down the intercom asking who we were and we couldn’t hear them as the alarm was going off, I phoned the people who sent the link as they gave me a contact number, it took them 2 hours to respond asking if we were alright and they just sent the link information again by that time my partner had managed to sort it out , after an hour of the alarm going off every 5 minutes Every time we went out we didn’t know if we were going to manage to get back in which did put a bit of a downer on the holiday, had my partner not come with myself and 2 friends we would not have even got though the gate Also back gate is not secure

Front door lock not easy to use at first, could do with a new handle and lock mechanism. Both the bifold doors could not be opened. Kitchen sink had no hot water, some lightbulbs do not work need new ones fitting. A path to roof terrace and pool would have been nice.

Location is perfect. 2 mins from shopping, food and beach. Private pool. Plenty of space in villa. Big outdoor area for sitting out and terrace area up stairs. Everything in the villa you need from iron to hair dryers, towels , microwave, kettle, coffee maker, pots and pans

Minor grumbles - door handles all very squeaky - so you wake everyone up, back bedroom only one socket works, not enough hot water for 3 showers - so some had to have cold!

Location is fantastic, villa is well equipped and pool is a bonus. Kitchen is good, decor is nice and every bedroom has a ceiling fan.

This is our 5th time staying at the Villa, the accommodation internally does need upgraded. For this reason we won’t be returning.

5th time staying at the Villa, great location, reasonable price. Had difficulty in entering the code to access the Villa, a phone call to the contact and it was easily resolved. We also had a few repairing issues during our stay that were promptly dealt with.

Could do with air-conditioning but there was plenty of fans. Local resident said he was the caretaker, did complain to us for using residents loungers around pool.. even though they were ALL empty. We didn't vacate the pool immediately at 6pm so he threatened to close the pool for the rest of our vacation. Spoke to booking.com and they delt with issue immediately.

The property was in a great location..the beach was only 2 mins away plus the bars/restaurants/supermarket only 4 mins. There's a Market twice aweek for little bargains 10 mins. Only 15mins from airport. There was a shared pool which we had to ourselves being late in the season. Booking.com helped us with a issue with another resident.. a big thank you to giselle x

We scored the villa an 8 and would have given a higher score if we had our bed linen and towels changed during our 14 day stay. We had to wash and dry them ourselves as they needed changing. Like stated in some previous reviews there are some things that could easily be fixed and could get this villa a higher score i.e kettle, toaster ect.. But overall a great villa for the price we payed.

The villa was very spacious and great value for money. We selected this villa for the location, outside space and the fact that it had two bathrooms and no steps, unless you wanted to go on the roof which was not required by us. After booking, we became concerned upon reading the past reviews but on arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and felt that it was exceptional value. We had access to a beautiful shared pool via a garden gate which felt like a private pool as we practically had it to ourselves for the entire stay. The villa is perfect for more than one family sharing as it has 4 bedrooms sleeping upto 8 people and has 2 full size bathrooms either end of the villa. It was also great to have a dishwasher and a washer/ dryer machine plus full cooking facilities including outside BBQ.
