A bit of a walk into the centre of Rennes. However worthwhile considering the hotel is excellent value for money and an excellent location from the auto route

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. The hotel is very good value for money. Clean and very welcoming. An excellent location when travelling to St Malo for an early morning ferry departure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You need to book early as the room vacancies are snapped up.

If space would allow a small kettle in the room for tea/coffee could be provided.

Room was clean and tidy. There was a shower hose on the bath, I prefer a full shower so that's more a preference. Bed was comfortable, no excess noise and even a siesta nap was refreshing. The breakfast was great, with freshly squeezed orange juice a great touch, rather than the concentrated sugar stuff.

Easy to find, we arrived early and reception was closed until 1500, but there were maps showing the location of the metro station (8 minutes walk and about 5 stops into Rennes centre). Check-in was easy and quick. The bed was nice and firm, the room was clean and warm. Car parking onsite.

Stayed numerous times - nice location and lovely walk into the old town. Basic but more than adequate plus parking is free so that’s a bonus

this hotel was convenient as a transition through Rennes. the staff was welcoming and helpful. a safe place to store a bicycle was provided. the access to public transportation was easy.

The Internet wifi connection is bad. There were some construction sites in full activity during our stay, so it was a bit noisy.

A nice & clean hotel, with a friendly personnel. The neighborhood is green and cozy, but not very close to the center of the city.

Lots of steps, perhaps challenging for anyone with mobility difficulties. This is just an observation there may be other access points that we are unaware of.

No air conditioning so extremely hot rooms. We had a ventilator in the room and kept the window open but it did not help much. Definitely better to avoid in August.

No air conditioning nor fridge meant that there could be some disadvantages during hot weather which we did indeed have. Slightly cramped room too. All in all, more character than a modern chain, better breakfast and parking too. Rennes is also a great city.

The adequate hotel this time was very quiet with its own free parking and a really good breakfast. It also had a bit of character as it had antique hotel stuff scattered around and tried to look a bit like a boat. None of which is necessary for the adequate stay, but it made it memorable.

The room was extremely small—filled by the bed. Almost nowhere to put our bags or walk.

The staff were great. Very nice garden area out back. Very good breakfast. Easy parking.
