Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere was nothing bad about La Grange
What an amazing place to stay. If you like peace and tranquility then this is the place. The room was excellent, there was a fabulous shower, a huge and comfortable bed and pillows and plenty of drinks including Lor pods for the coffee machine. WiFi was a great signal, and the kitchen area downstairs could be used for more drinks, sitting and enjoying a game of something or eating something you'd prepared. There was a shared fridge you could use too and outdoor seating. Open fields stretched out behind, and the river with a quiet lane stood in front. Breakfast was delicious with bread , a really nice croissant, home made cake, jams and yoghurt, plenty of coffee or tea handmade apple juice too. There was fruit and cheese too. Our host Cyrielle could not have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. She was never too busy to have a short chat despite our current inability to speak much French. On our return home she wrapped the sandwiches we had made from breakfast for our drive home, and even told us to take more cake, so nice. I would heartily recommend La Grange to family and friends and would definitely come back again if we are in the region. Savonnières was a beautiful town, and was only 2.5 km away so could easily be reached on foot or by bike if you didn't want to drive.

United KingdomThat we could not stay longer!
Cyrielle is a super host- warm and friendly. It was a return visit for me but new to my daughter (25). We had the Duplex again - a beautiful contemporary loft room with shower and downstairs a sitting room which, in our case, converted to a second bedroom, with stylish loo just off. Lovely, fresh white cotton bed linen and towels. Our breakfast, homemade cake, yoghurt and jams, locally sourced apple juice, fruit, croissants and bread, fresh coffee with hot or cold milk, dairy or plant based. We enjoyed it all and we’re not left wanting. Our room was secure and we also had keys to the front door so could come and go freely. We very much enjoyed relaxing on the patio in the evening - it’s so quiet, yet not remote. There was use of a fridge and microwave if wanted, glasses and plates too. I’ve stayed in many different places all over France, but without doubt, La Grange with Cyrielle’s hospitality is the best. My daughter agrees.

Netherlands1. What to say, the host is exceptional. 2. It is barn converted to rooms and the rooms really modern. 3. The location is beautiful and it is 5 minutes drive from the Villandary gardens. 4. It is also 20 minutes from the Tours centrum. 5. Cyrielle was exceptional and made us feel at home. My 7 year old became instant fan of her. The breakfast was also really delicious.

United StatesRoom and bed were very comfortable and the property was quiet. Great details such as wood beams and stone wall in the bathroom. The hosts could not have been friendlier. Breakfast was delicious with bread, croissants, fruit, jam, homemade yogurt and an extra treat each day (pear crumble and banana bread). Would highly recommend staying here!

SingaporeThe host is responsive, accommodative and very friendly. Location is a bit secluded but we were given precise direction beforehand by the host. We enjoyed the peaceful "country side" feel. The host is fabulous, greeted us with warmth and smile. We wished we could stay a little longer. Breakfast was simple with croissants, coffee, natural yogurt, fresh figs etc, but we are good as we have to depart early.
