The duvet was a thin summer one. Fine when it hot but not a winter weight one at all! Could have done with something a lot warmer !

All was good, although depending on who I was staying with the small window between the room and the bathroom might have been awkward. Some of the decor was getting a bit old.

Good size, comfortable, quiet room with a very welcome balcony. Unusually for France a kettle was provided. Breakfast was a good selection of self-service items. I didn't fancy squeezing into the tight car-park in my unfamiliar hire car, but there was free street parking 5 minutes away. Well-situated for some very good restaurants in the port area, about a mile from the town centre and station.

The property is some distance from the beach and the centre of Arcachon town. A good 45 minute walk.

Easy to find, good car park at the rear, lift to all floors, nice welcome air conditioning. Nice balcony to sit out on. There is a Bar just up the street, a supermarket and several restaurants close by.

Not so keen on the ‘urban’ decor in the bathroom but all the facilities functioned fine so it’s more a question of personal taste. There was very little we did not like really for the 3 stars

Good sized room with a balcony with excellent views over the marina and the Bassin d’Arcachon. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff were very helpful. We felt very relaxed from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was good and we were pleased with the off road parking. A good location handy for everything with restaurants, coffee shops and boulangeries all within a short stroll.

It would be good if the wifi encryption could be upgraded to state of the art (at least WPA 2). It still has WEP which prevents using WiFi with a decent iPhone. Mac Computer also raises warnings and Apple Mail can't be received due to security reasons. Wifi Speed is good.

Free "Upgrade" to the Upgrade, I got a upgrade to superior room through Booking.com and even got a premium room with the best view during the low season in February at the hotel. Great view on the harbor from the terrace. Free Parking at the hotel is also very useful. (But the entrance to the parking is quite tight...)

- The road next to the hotel is quite small but incredibly noisy, we were able to sleep with earplugs only. - There was a window leading from the bathroom to the bedroom providing an incredible view at anyone sitting on the toilet. This is a terrible room design.

Of the shortcomings, the lack of a mini-fridge can be noted. It would come in very handy during the summer heat.

I stay here not the first time, nice hotel, friendly staff. The room is not very big but quite comfortable. If the windows overlook the street, then it is noisy, and if it is in the courtyard, you can sleep with the windows open.

Parking was not always available at hotel and the spaces were tight. Street bin collection was very early in the morning and noisy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from our room and balcony towards the marina and the sea was lovely and very entertaining. Located not in the centre of the town but with a good boardwalk along the beach to the town. Great selection of restaurants nearby, so no need to walk into town to eat. If you like architecture, this town is a feast for your eye.

The room didn’t have cold water on our first night and into the second day. We were allowed to use another room to shower etc. The air-conditioning didn’t really work and if the room gets warm there is noise from the busy road if you open the windows. The internet is intermittent in the room.

Receptionist good and helpful. Requested (and paid for) a sea view with balcony which was what we got. The room was clean and had kettle which is always good.

The paid breakfast was very poor. I never appreciate being served cheese wrapped in plastic. The options were very limited with no hot options.

The room was larger than I expected with a very good view overlooking the bay. Large enough balcony to sit outside on to have coffee in the sun looking at the water.

The parking isn't enough to allocate cars for all the guests. We were lucky to find a place to park the night, but the car was left on the street during the day, as the parking was full.

We can't get picky as it was the cheapest hotel we found. So I would say it is good value for money. The room was small but we had a balcony, so it was nice to have some natural light.
