The only thing that bothered us was that the cleaning staff was quite noisy in the morning when we were still sleeping, it would be nice if they could be more considerate towards the people that are trying to rest.

It was a wonderful stay and met our expectations.

After several nights in old-town Milan, we were excited to stay in a modern hotel with available parking and seaside views. Menton is a close location to Monte Carlo, but budget friendly and not crowded. The hotel's location is a convenient walk from the beautiful hillside historic center and newly renovated beach area. There are many nearby cafés for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby and breakfast area and watching the sea. I recommend this hotel and particularly the town of Menton.

Excellent location in front of the sea. A 20 minute walk along the sea front to the livelier town centre. Excellent rooftop solarium and jacuzzi The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with modern walk-in shower. We also had a very large terrace with sunbeds, chairs and table facing the sea.

The lift, small so unnerving if claustrophobic and didn't go all the way to rooftop.

The rooftop hot tub and sun lounge area were fabulous. Good to have options for parking, only a few spaces for free but paid for an off street space and able to reserve this. Good location, nice views and comfortable room.

We visited in early Sept and Menton was very busy, beaches were packed.

Hotel is located right next to the beach, walking (700m) from train station and with buses outside the hotel. Staff were helpful , breakfast looked good but we didn't partake. We had a balcony (mountain view) and the road below was very busy and noisy. Laundry facilities just up the road, Wifi in the room was ok, coffe and tea making facilities were in the room , all in all it was a good place to stay. Plenty of eating places around

The shower is poorly designed. There is no full enclosure so the water shoots out the back, onto the floor. The floor became drenched during our stay and we had to use multiple towels to sop it up - an odd situation for such an expensive room. The balcony could have better a privacy screen - our neighbor peered over the screen at us while we were having breakfast which was obviously not ideal. The hotel is a good twenty to thirty minute walk from the old town and more decent food and beach options. We wanted to use the jacuzzi on our last day, but there was a strange guy smoking a cigar there, basically taking up the whole outside deck area. Breakfast is a little expensive for pastries, coffee, juice, and a small yogurt, and it is served buffet style where you have to line up (unless you order it as room service).

I am a very sensitive sleeper. Both my partner and I found the bed to be very comfortable. We got some good sleep which was unexpected! The view of the ocean was beautiful. We had breakfast in our room on the departure day and it was lovely to sit on the balcony and look at the water - very relaxing. They have beach towels which you can take with you on day trips. The room was clean, quiet, and a good size. We also had control of the temperature in our room which was great. Staff was professional and efficient. The hotel is modern and well-kept. There is a jacuzzi on the top floor with an incredible view and sun deck.

Road noise. Not the hotel’s fault but Menton really needs to up its game in terms of traffic calming measures. The constant load road noise made the balcony virtually unusable.

The location was excellent, overlooking the Mediterranean, near the old town but far enough away to offer quiet relaxation. The hotel was beautifully appointed and clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable with bathrobes, slippers and toiletries provided and the mini bar was well-stoked and reasonably priced.
